What is the rarest album that you own?
I have Kurt Cobain's Fecal Matter Demos, but I downloaded themm off the web so I guess that doesn't count.
But anyway I've got a copy of the "Deep Six" Demo featuring six of the first Gunge bands and arguably the first Grunge record. There's some Soundgarden, Green River, and Skin Yard stuff on there. |
Not including work members on here did, Mountain Ash Band's The Hermit, props to Comus for sending it to me.

Italian idustrial record which only 25 copies were made, all of them distributed to various friends, family, and coworkers by the creator. The records were all wrapped in white cloths stained with blood. The creator being a coroner, the police debated whether the blood was extracted from the corpses he worked on or himself.
When they found the guy he was hanging by a rope. I'll discuss it in further detail in a thread I'm doing in October. |

Looking forward to that one. oO |

The Dicks-kill from the heart 12"
...I paid $60 for it at a used record store. |
Original 1964 pressing of Johnny Cash's 'I Walk The Line'. Pretty beat up these days,
|
Probably David Bowie's Scary Monsters on purple vinyl, as pictured below...
http://www.popsike.com/pix/20051104/4789584939.jpg ^ Cost me £80 that did. And no, that's not my copy in the pic. My one's tucked away in the attic somewhere. |
I have that Nirvana / Jesus Lizard spilt on blue vinyl, I guess it would be that.
As far as albums go I have the original pressing of Judas Priest's Sad Wings Of Destiny album from 1976 on Gull Records so I guess it would be that. I also own the 7" of The Ripper from that era too. |
bells on trike was limited to 500 pressings, but nowadays it's pretty accessible via the intrawebz. either that or a 7 inch from the book of dead names first and only release.
