Apparently we haven't yet, haha.

My friend told me to listen to "geek in the Pink", and it'll probably be a song that grows on me. For some reason I'm not a fan yet :/

It's a nice, summer-y song - though if you're in the wrong sort of mood you *do* want to strangle him.

Agreed. It's great if it comes on on the radio and your in the car with the windows down and a beautiful warm sunny day, it creates a good upbeat atmosphere. But if your just not in a cheery, peppy, enjoyable mood then it is by far the most annoying thing at that moment.

What's the wrong sort of mood?
Not all of his music is cheery and happy.

Well I only know of that one song of his, I never looked into the rest of his music.

I guess the wrong sort of mood is.. You wake up with cramps, your day is filled with grey and windyness, your forced to be peppy at work, you fall and embarrass yourself in front of the whole kitchen causing food to be all over your black outfit and a mess of broken plates surrounding you (one of which broke on your hip), you then go outside to meet your ride because you don't drive and a car drives past and splashes you and then the first thing you hear is Jason Mraz and his upbeat music when all you wanna do is go crawl in a hole for a day or two.

He does have a lot of music that's upbeat and happy, you're right.
But some of his songs are a little more slowed down.
Minor.
Etc.

Generally though i don't turn to Mraz as my sountrack to my dark days though.... he's more appropriate to nice, sunny days, I find...

I agree with you.
My friend and I were talking about that today.
There is one song by him I listened to when I was upset. It was still a song about being strong, but it was slower and more appropriate for my mood.

I like his stuff because it's so positive and up - vibe though, because most of my collection is, admittedly, kinda dark and broody...

I saw him in concert at the Greek and found myself really annoyed with his nerdy, awkward style but all the girls around me seemed to have a major crush on him, including my gf.
