I agree with you and others who like the song because it is very upbeat...it really does sound like the happy corn ear posted courtesy of TumorAttitude (not that this picture was meant to show affection for the song)! I see the song as encouraging people to relax and enjoy the moment and be loving and kind now rather than putting it off, because life is short. Nice sentiment.

My favorite line is

because I've always liked the word "scooch" and don't know if I've ever heard it used in a song before! If any of you know of other "scooch" songs, please let me know.

Where are you from?

And it's a weird word now that I think about it.

If this thread it going to make sense, someone might as well change the title.

Anyway, has anyone heard any of Mraz's older work?

I've heard it... pretty solid pop tunes with a quirky twist here and there.... I am not his biggest hardcore fan or anything, but he is a pretty solid little tunesmith, with a very listenable catalogue.

Oh, so now it's cool when a hose head white guy takes a sub par pseudo skanky riff and adds stupid lyrics and pretends to be Peter Tosh? Or does Mr A-Z not know who that is?

Awful.

Even worse than Sublime.
