3. Nine Inch Nail - Sanctified (That bass!)
4. Firewater - 7th Avenue Static (Really pretty good)
5. Cop Shoot Cop - System Test (Eeeek - that's from some bootleg, and pretty much unlistenable, much as I love these guys)
6. Cop Shoot Cop - Triumphal Theme (Just...um, that one)
7. Echo and the Bunnymen - No Dark Things (Cardiac arrest of a song)
8. Certain General - Will you (Can you say epic?)
9. Pet Shop Boys - Opportunities (So glad this came up - classic pop at its best)
10. BRMC - Love Burns (Not the best song on the album this is from, but on the other hand, there isn't a single bad song on that album)
this morning on the news they talked about some guy in NYC who saved somebody from being hit by a train...he said he did because he did not want to be late for work.....immediately this song popped in my head

Stevie Wonder – Higher Ground (excellent classic song)
Tages – Mohair Sam (nice psych pop from this Swedish band no one seems to know)
Foscil – House Party (great Seattle-based instrumental hip-hop ensemble)
The Smoke – You Can't Catch Me (another nice 60s psych pop track)
The Black Heart Procession – Square Heart (one of my favorites from them)
KMD – F*@# Wit' Ya Head (feat. CMOB and Hard 2 Obtain) (some hip-hop I recently picked up, early MF DOOM project)
Dilute – Queer Dork Song (sort of mathy and post-hardcore indie rock)
Blockhead – Do the Tron (great instrumental hip-hop track)
Omar A. Rodriguez-Lopez – Melting Chariots (pretty decent jam from ATDI/Mars Volta guitarist)
Skinny Puppy – Politikil (meh - I love SP but the material from their 2 reunion albums is quite sub-par)

what can you say about somebody who has underground hip-hop mixed with great indie rock and then ends it with ****ing SKINNY PUPPY....perfect maybe?

i love the idea of commenting on your own tracks

Kraftwerk - Music Non Stop[Moscow] (9+ minutes of the best electronic music ever produced)
Neither/Neither World - Our Devil's Cave (dark brooding and Wendy's voice is exactly how i imagine Satan to sound like)
The Jesus Lizard - Monkey Trick[live] (this is one of many Jesus Lizard songs where David Wm. Sims's bass playing out shines the incredible "vocals" by David Yow)
Magik Markers - The Lighter Side Of...Hippies (one of my new favorite bands....its just wonderful like a rock in a cop's face)
The Angels Of Light - The Man We Left Behind (warm like a heated blanket at the hospital)
God Bullies - Follow The Leader ("oh my children there is no hope, lt's go to heaven in a big row boat"...this band is why i LOVE noise)
Wu-Tang Clan - Wu-Tang 7th Chamber (first the little skit is hilarious....what can i say this album is ****ing gold)
Luftwaffe - Apostate De Veritas (....yeah this is very much the soundtrack of the end of the world)
Leonard Cohen - Chelsea Hotel (this is from the live album released this year....man his voice still chills me to the bone)
My Bloody Valentine - You Made Me realise (this is the stuff i just love by MBV....a little less droney and little more rock...amazing jagged guitar work)

Oh, that's brilliant! (Sadly, I can totally relate to that.)

I wish I listened to more of this stuff, I've heard of a lot of it but never got around to really listening, especially MBV. Plus I like the comment on your own shuffle idea too.

Spoon- Well Alright (A nice upbeat offering from them, from the very solid Dark Was The Night compilation)
Bob Dylan- Isis (His lyrics are some of the best I've ever heard, no doubt about it)
CunninLynguists- Dance For Me (Despite the terrible band name, they are really great, wonderful sample in the beginning of this song too)
Wolf Parade- Palm Road (Off their newest album, I tend to prefer Krug's songs over Boeckner's but he's still pretty aweseome)
Mitch Hedberg- Tomatoes (This guy is hilarious)
Balkan Beat Box- Baharim (Worldish music that I have to be in the mood for to enjoy)
The Fratellis- Creeping Up The Backstairs (Acoustic) (I've been listening to them a lot more lately, surprising how good they are)
Stay Ahead Of The Weather- Sorority Social Suicide (I just got this ep about a week ago and have only listened to it once, but from the one listen it's pretty rad)
Les Savy Fav- Appetites (Not as experimental as their other stuff, but it's still pretty cool punk nonetheless)
Blackbird Raum- Coal (These guys are awesome, they play a very rowdy and exciting brand of folk-punk)

I like Les Savy Fav and some Spoon, haven't listened to or heard of the others.

Pinback – Seville
Paul White – Looking Out To See
Tortoise – Almost Always Is Nearly Enough
PlatEAU – Peacemaker
Neil Landstrumm – Transmission (with Si Begg)
Glenn Danzig – The Morrigu
Pink Floyd – The Gunner's Dream
MC 900 Ft Jesus - But If You Go
Misfits - Mommy Can I Go Out & Kill Tonight (Live)
DMX Krew - Pixel Wrap
Volcano Suns - Local Wise Man

Not commenting on my list this time, but my favorite is bold, some dope Tuss/Aphex-style acid techno. I enjoyed them all. Threw in a bonus track because I haven't shut it off yet.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
