Well, Primus were a quirky and very influential band who had their peak in the 90s and were fronted by Les Claypool, one of the best bass players ever. Charles Mingus was one of the great jazz composers and himself a fantastic bassist. Both are definitely worth checking out.

watched the first one it was pretty cool, took too long to get into & i wasnt the biggest fan of the nacho intro. but once it was in it was good, not my usual cup of tea, but if it came on in my library i wouldnt turn it off, put it that way
