Yeah, when you weigh it up against an album like "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", I'm not that big a fan of it either, I just think that it receives far less credit than it deserves, at least in contrast with the other two albums they've recorded since John's return. Also, love the Kyuss song in the last list you posted. Possibly the best rock band of the '90s, if you ask me.
It still sold millions of copies. Their most underrated work almost has to be something from the 80s because they were unknowns back then.

And I think you know who I believe was the best rock band of the 90s...

Good artists in the mix

The Raspberries - Go All The Way
The White Stripes - I Can't Wait
The King Khan & BBQ Show - Captain Captain
Dr. John - Blow Wind Blow
Cat Stevens - Foreigner Suite
Bee Gees - Jive Talkin'
David Bowie - China Girl
Big Mama Thornton - Ball N Chain
Kings of Leon - Razz
Weezer - My Name Is Jonas

I was going to pick Captain Captain since that's the song I pulled my username from but decided to go with The Raspberries since that song is a perfect example of power pop at its best.

I like The White Stripes and some KoL and Weezer.

Spoon - 'Finer Feelings'
Foo Fighters - 'Learn to Fly'
Red Hot Chili Peppers - 'Search and Destroy'
Dinosaur Jr. - 'Creepies'
Built to Spill - 'Sidewalk'
mclusky - 'Joy'
Flogging Molly - 'Light of a Fading Star'
Free Energy - 'Hope Child'
Incubus - 'A Certain Shade of Green'
Them Crooked Vultures - 'Reptiles'

Probably *the classic* Incubus song with one of my all-time favorite bridges...
