Hahaha at the last actual shuffle, and the last post.

One For The Team- Good Boys Don't Make Noise
Bloc Party- Price Of Gasoline
Lacrosse- Let's Get Old
Pattern Is Movement- Sea Captain
Jason Anderson- Ohio
Belle and Sebastian- I Took A Long Hard Look
Talulah Gosh- I Can't Get No Satisfaction (Thank God)
Matt & Kim- Turn This Boat Around
Tullycraft- DIY Queen
Tender Forever- So We Can Deal

I personally love this shuffle, I can't believe I have to choose one favorite song to bold...

lol, i can't really see myself listening to most of those songs on a regular basis either! However, Deftones are indeed the bomb, especially White Pony - there isn't a single song on that album i don't like.

I heard a solo electric guitar/voice version of that song once that blew me away and I haven't been able to find it since. Shame.

Anyway...

1. The Bees - These are the Ghosts
2. The Magnetic Fields - The Dreaming Moon
3. Lambchop - The Scary Caroler
4. The Cinematic Orchestra - Odessa
5. Vic Chessnut - To Be With You
6. Journey - When I Think of You
7. The Cure - The Blood
8. Annie - When the Night
9. Prefuse 73 - Rain (Edit Interlude)
10. Laura Nyro - Sweet Blindness

Hm. Picking a favorite there is tricky. Nothing jumps out at me. But that is one of my favorite Cure tracks, so that I guess.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Of those I'm familiar with there, I hate Queen and Starsailor, sorry! Not heard any of Emily Haines solo work but like Metric a lot.

Here's mine:

Talib Kweli (feat DJ Quik) 'Put It In The Air'
Lemon Jelly '75 aka Stay With You'
Erick Sermon (feat Sy Scott) 'Battle'
Jaylib 'Strapped'
Dirty Projectors 'My Offwhite Flag'
Mudhoney 'Crooked And Wide'
Karate 'Gasoline'
The Handsome Family 'Gail With The Golden Hair'
F---ed Up 'David Comes To Life'
Calexico 'Removed'

Calexico bailed me out a bit there on the fave track thing as prior to that it was a bit of a "decent/ordinary LP track" kind of selection, no real bangers. But the Calexico is classic.

Can't say I can pinpoint that Lemon Jelly track though, not had that LP long and it's a good record for sure.
That Calexico song is a fantastic track, actually everything they did up to the loathsome "Garden Ruins" was fantastic - "Carried To Dust" I've still not gelled to properly just yet!

Anyhoo a list of randomly selected songs from my LAST.FM library:

  • Magic Markers - Body Rot
  • Eat Skull - Dog Religion
  • Grouper - Way Their Crept
  • Sun City Girls - Burial In The Sky
  • Megazord - Mirror Mountain
  • Blk Jks - Transit Camp
  • Lichens - Faeries
  • Valerio Cosi - Mozambiqo
  • Sir Richard Bishop - Tripurasudarai
  • Earl Brutus - Navyhead

No favorite? Your list is definitely the definition of "experimental". That Grouper song is way creepy.

Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band
Swallowed in the Sea - Coldplay
Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) - Deftones
MfG - Die Fantastischen Vier
Lucid Dreams (New Album Version) - Franz Ferdinand
The Real Thing - Lisa Stanfield
Swap Meet - Nirvana
Harps of the Ancient Temples - Gail Laughton
Pretty Noose - Soundgarden
Livin' Thing - Electric Light Orchestra
