I've only heard the Nirvana song off that list and it's not my favorite. LCD Soundsystem, Ben Folds, David Bowie, Ray Charles and Modest Mouse are all on my list of popular artists that I've hardly ever listened to. I liked a couple new Ben Folds songs I've heard listening to him butcher The Flaming Lips isn't a good first impression. I've mostly only heard Arctic Monkeys' singles which have been a bit hit and miss with me. I like Bob Marley. I've only heard Norah Jones with Peeping Tom and I haven't heard of Fear Of Pop. Summary: Unfamiliar.

Thrice - Trust
65daysofstatic - Climbing On Roofs (Desperate Edit)
Sufjan Stevens - Bring A Torch, Jeanette, Isabella
Sun Ra - Paradise
Mr. Bungle - Ars Moriendi
Patrick Wolf - Lycanthropy
Make Believe - Say What You Mean
The Beatles - Paperback Writer
Cancer Bats - Firecrack This
Built To Spill - Conventional Wisdom

Fear of Pop is actually an experimental band with Ben Folds in it. You seem pretty familiar with the list, as you recognized every artist!

I do what I can. In what ways does Fear of Pop differ from Ben Folds other work? Experimental can mean so many things.

It is many many things. It's incredibly different from Ben Fold's other stuff, I didn't even recognize it as him. It's pretty interesting, but not the best. I can give you a link if you want.
