Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

Rather irritated that Spotify eliminated the ability to shuffle all songs in your library. Presently, shuffle is limited to albums, artists and playlists. I actually wanted to shuffle the entire Spotify library but that was apparently too ambitious. But wouldn’t that be an excellent way of discovering new music? New to you, anyway?

In any event, iTunes/Apple Music and YouTube Music allows you to shuffle everything in your library. Can’t shuffle their entire catalog either, though!

Spotify does have a discover new music feature but it’s not quite the same thing as a catalog shuffle. Ah well. If anyone knows how to do this for any music platform, please, let me know!

I just keep all music in organized directory's on a 200GB SD card. Keeps me from having to be at the mercy of any streaming service.

Rush - Leave That Thing Alone
Buckethead - Dime
The Beatles - Come Together
Santana - Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen (Live in South America)
Joe Satriani - Borg Sex
Mastadon - Circle of Cysquatch
Los Lonely Boys - Crazy Dreams
Indigenous - Remember
Dwight Yoakam - It's Never Alright
Def Leppard - Rocket

Mercy? I was thinking more about discovery. Organization and storage aren't the issue. Oh well. Nevermind.
The YouTube desktop app shuffle will suffice.

Love Satriani. Still listen to Surfing With The Alien from time to time.

What's The Matter With You Baby, Marvin Gaye
Well Tempered Clavier: Book 1, Prelude XII in F Minor, JS Bach, Ramin Bahrami

In Allen Meinen Tatten, Kathleen Battle, Itzhak Perlman, Orch. St. Luke's, John Nelson

Switched to Spotify a few years back, but there doesn't appear to be a shuffle of all the music I listen to. So I'll pull up my iPod music and see what comes up...

Bloc Party - The Prayer
COI - My Life
Nelly - She's So Fly
Kanye West - I Am a God
Lil Wayne - So Special
Smashing Pumpkins - Lucky 13
Portugal. The Man - Salt
Blink-182 - Aliens Exist
Rockabye Baby - All Apologies
Common - Everywhere

Not the best list of songs from my iPod...

From my Spotify* playlist in which I dump all songs at the end of the year from my "walking around" playlist.

1. AC/DC - It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n' roll
2. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Dig, Lazerus, Dig!!!
3. hyperstory - A Happening
4. Metallica - Confusion
5. CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings
6. Nirvana - Where did you sleep last night
7. Good Old War - Tell me what you want from me
8. Pickwick - Hacienda Motel
9. Jimmy Buffett - How a pirate looks at 40
10. Iron & Wine - Low light buddy of mine

*It was on shuffle, but I feel like Spotify uses an algorhytm to try and figure out what you want to hear. This 94 hour playlist seemed genre-specific.
