You mean balkan new wave?
I might know 2-3 bands, but I'll be glad to fnd out more.

Does Kino sound ineresting to you? I've never found anyone who liked them, without speaking russian. They always seemed like one of those bands to me, where the lyrics make them really stand out, while the music itself is pretty standard.

I like Letov's stuff as well. He does indeed have good lyrics, but the music holds up well on its own.
You should check out Auktyon. Imho the best russian 'rock' band and their music absolutely doesn't have to rely on lyrics.
