Waitin' For a Superman - The Flaming Lips
John Mclaughlin - Miles Davis
Makes No Sense at All - Husker Du
Someone Like You - The Knitters
In My Time of Dyin' - Bob Dylan
Idioteque - Radiohead
Too Drunk To **** - Nouvelle Vague
Lust for Life - The Smithereens

Very good list, all very respectable artists, actually all very talented artists, no negatives, except I don't know Glenn Gould.

Sufjan Stevens- Godzuki
Stuart Murdoch- Another Saturday
Steel Train- Alone On The Sea
Mirah- Cold Cold Water
She & Him- Sentimental Heart
Alien Ant Farm- Glow
Tokyo Police Club- Graves
Interpol- Obstacle 1
The Band- The Weight
Moby Grape- Someday.

Wow, 2 songs I have never listened to showed up on my shuffle, interesting.

Glenn Gould is just a piano player, not sure if he composed anything but if you look at the track you can see he is playing Mozart.

Good choice on best pick, fantastic song. Atmosphere, AC, Charles Mingus, and Butthole Surfers are great. I don't like Black Dahlia Murder too much, and Dire Straits and Simon & Garfunkel are pretty good. I haven't heard anything by Clutch or Call Them Quits before.

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
The Orb - His Immortal Longness
Rubik - Goji Berries
Trivium - Departure
Jefferson Airplane - Plastic Fantastic Lover
Shpongle - Mentalism
Of Montreal - Just Recently Lost Something of Importance
The Singing Loins - Fat Boy of Peckham
Linkin Park - H! Vltg3 (I know I'm getting **** for this)
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising

The Orb, Jefferson Airplane, of Montreal and CCR get respect, the rest I'm not familiar with.

Hose.Got.Cable - Lets Spend Some Time Together
Lynx - Look at that Table and Make it Spin in Your Head
+/- - Here We Are (Again)
Beirut - Gulag Orkestar
Dead Voices on Air - Mete Him Out The Winds
Ten Grand - Hands Off the Merch
DAK - Rollinghills
Lukid - On And On
Harmonic 313 - No Way Out
Nirvana - The Show Must Go On

Weird list, definitely not the most interesting.

I'm not familiar with much of your list apart from Beirut, Ten Grand, and of course Nirvana. I haven't really been excited with anything I've heard by Beirut or Ten Grand yet. I used to be completely in love with Nirvana years ago.

Ween - I'm In The Mood To Move
Melvins - Amazon (Continued)
Zox - Ghostown
The Decemberists - Oh Valencia!
Michael Yonkers Band - Microminiature Love
Fred Frith - Hello Music
Alice Donut - Tiny Ugly World
The (International) Noise Conspiracy - Black Mask
The Ramones - Sheena Is A Punk Rocker
Joy Division - Incubation

I like Ramones, Ween and Zox. Not too fond of anything ekse on there actually.

Graham Coxon - People of the Earth
Metro Riots - Modern Riots
Enya - Shepard Moons
Elvis Presley - Tutti Frutti
Prodigy - Firestarter
Evanescence - Your Star
Muse - Micro Cuts
Muse - In Your World
Pantera - Walk
Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the U.K

My favorite is one of Muse's best songs ever, in my humble opinion. It's off the Origin of Symmetry album - check it out.
