At the very least, Nina Simone..
Very possible you may not like her however that is a boldly presumptuous statement. Given you have the MD Quintet should allow an ounce of amenability to another jazz pioneer.

I just know Brown Sugar and Shoot to Thrill from this list, and both are great, especially the latter, one of the best from AC/DC.

My turn, then:

Neil Young - One More Sign
The Beatles - It Won't Be Long
The Rolling Stones - Sad Sad Sad
Supergrass - ZA
Bob Dylan - Worried Blues
Bob Dylan & The Band - Tiny Montgomery
Captain Beyond - As the Moon Speaks (Return)
Van Morrison - Saint Dominic's Preview
Buzzcocks - Fiction Romance
Oasis - Lyla

I know I've heard the Dylan songs, but I can only remember Worried Blues, which is an alright song, nowhere near his best stuff. The only other song I know here is It Won't Be Long, an absolute blinding opener. Oh, maybe I'm not supposed to comment my own songs? Oh well. :p

^ Nice list, I especially like the Beatles and Neil Young songs. I also love Oasis but I'm not a big fan of that track in particular.

My Bloody Valentine - Soft As Snow (But Warm Inside)
Foxygen - On Blue Mountain
Lou Reed - Vicious
Blur - Caramel
Midlake - Roscoe
The Strokes - Between Love & Hate
Cream - Tales of Brave Ulysses
The Clash - Lost in the Supermarket
Lilys - Dimes Make Dollars
Journey - Lights

This shuffle was pretty good, favorite would be either the Blur or Lilys song, but I'll go with Blur because I'm pretty sure I've listened to it more.

Pixies – Wave of Mutilation

Mew – Silas The Magic Car
Cocteau Twins – Aloysius
Rage Against the Machine – Testify
