I usually shuffle my iTunes for this, but this is just shuffle on my little 8GB Nano so it's a better representation of what I've been listening to lately. As a result, it was hard for me to pick a favorite track: "City Life"—Harry Nilsson "The Message"—Salome "In Your House"—The Cure "Khebar"—The Bar Kokhba Sextet "Speak Ya Piece"—Lord Finesse "The Coast Explodes"—Mammatus "Reel Around the Fountain"—The Smiths "Brighton Town is a Fucking Whore"—Dopefight "Kara Turuya"—Huun-Huur-Tu ft. Samsonov "Like Cockatoos"—The Cure |

"In Your House" and that Azerbaijani throat-singing tune "Kara Turuya" are the only tunes that tickled my fancy.

Pretty decent shuffle. Lots of good stuff there. That Color of Clouds song is so....so....so 1997. I still have not heard anything by System of a Down that I fancy.

^I only know half the artists there but I dig QOTSA and Jeff Buckley, plus I sort of like "What's New Pussycat?" so I'll give you a thumbs up.
My shuffle was a pretty random mix, but it just so happens to include one of my favorite Bauhaus songs: "One Tin Soldier"—Me First & the Gimme Gimmies "Me Lack Space..."—Faust "Back Up Off the Floor Pt. 2"—Edit ft. The Grouch "Hollywood Nights"—Bob Seger "Loser"—Sister Machine Gun "Revolutionary Woman of the Windmill, Pt. 1"—Up, Bustle & Out "Humor Me"—Pere Ubu "Abou Hamza on Cassette Tape"—Muslimgauze "Example #22"—Laurie Anderson "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything"—Bauhaus |
