Slayer- War Ensemble
Led Zeppelin- Boogie with Stu
Godflesh- Go Spread Your Wings
Supertramp- Child of Vision
Genesis- In the Cage
Kavinsky feat. Lovefoxxx- Nightcall
Great to see some stuff I can comment on finally!

VdGG are just great, and I must say I love the difference in "Refugees" being a laidback ballad, which was in fact one of the first VdGG songs I ever heard, though "Pawn hearts" remains my favourite of their albums.

Supertramp, "Child of vision": is there a better way to end an album? That absolutely amazing piano solo/outro from Davies: superb! I also love the lyric: "We have no reason to fight/ Cos we both know that we're right!"

Genesis: "In the cage". Gabriel at his most manic, you can just feel the sense of dread and panic and fear and confusion, and the way the music swirls and eddies with his vocal. Great, great album, a real classic.

Oh, and Frownland? Bit of Waits in there? Excellent, though I wouldn't put "Big in Japan" as my favourite off "Mule variations" (prefer "Come on up to the house" or "Filipino box spring hog", maybe "House where no-one lives" or my favourite, "What's he building in there?") --- good to see it though.

Guess that makes it my turn eh? Okay then, let's see what we got...

Leaving the harbour --- Nanci Griffith (Storms)
Every home is wired --- Porcupine Tree (Stars die)
Shallow --- Porcupine Tree (Deadwing) weird, huh? This randomisation...
My way --- Various artists (orchestral version) (Moods orchestral : Nights in white satin)
Beyond the clouds --- Journey (Generations)
Jungleland --- Bruce Springsteen (Live in New York City, disc 2)
Desert love --- Roger Hodgson (Hai hai)
Empty --- Del Amitri (Waking hours)
Day four: Mystery --- Ayreon (The human equation)
Tumbledown --- Fish (Raingods with zippos)

I like the Waits on there and Between the Buried and Me are pretty good. Not a huge fan of the rest, Incubus is alright and I've always been iffy on Thriller.

Talking Heads - The Great Curve
Naked City - Billy Liar
Alice Cooper - Make That Money (Scrooge's Song)
Combat Astronomy - Inverted Universe Pt. 2
Albert Ayler & Don Cherry - Vibrations
Soft Machine - Virtually Part 4
Fantomas - Book 1: Page 12
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Beatle Bones 'N' Smokin' Stones
Praxis - Rivet
Third View - Message

Damn this list was really good.

Well, with me you can't go wrong with Bjork. Soma's a nice tune to chill out to. I'm not a big fan of Eminem, but I don't doubt he's talented. The overall vibe is interesting, but very different than what I tend to listen to.

OK, here goes nothing!

Morcheeba- The Sea
Laurent Garnier- The Man With the Red Face
Zero 7- Ghost Ship In A Storm
Gemma Ray- (You've Got Me In A) Death Roll
Janet Jackson- Control
Woven Hand- Blue Pail Fever
Atrium Carceri- Meltdown
The Impressions- People Get Ready
Yazoo- State Farm
Jean Michel Jarre- Oxygene 4

...well that was interesting! lol.
