Not my favorite Van Morrison Album. And, the Smiths are alright. But, I bet James Loves every song on that list, so, I do too.

1. Old 97's - Salome
2. The Hold Steady - Your Little Hoodrat Friend
3. Green Day - Castaway
4. Deer Tick - Clownin' Around
5. Ben Nichols - Dog Day Nights
6. Builders and the Butchers - Devil Town
7. Paul McCartney & Wings - You Gave Me The Answer
8. Flogging Molly - Punch Drunk Grinning Soul
9. Gaslight Anthem - The Patient Ferris Wheel
10. Uncle Tupelo - D. Boon

Always good to see Bowie in a list, quite a good cover he does on that track.
I like The Flaming Lips, haven't got that track though.
I also like Mos Def and the whole Black on Both Sides album is great.
Heard of Aphex Twin & De La Soul, but haven't checked them out yet.

Lost Sounds - We're Just Living
The Knife - Still Light
Paolo Nutini - Jenny Don't Be Hasty
Trivium - Dying In Your Arms
Attack Attack! - Seen Me Lately
Kool G Rap - Ill Street Blues
REM - The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight
Shaggy - Angel
Big Boi - Shine Blockas (Remix)
Johnny Cash - I Walk The Line

If it wasn't for "Pixies" I wouldn't know which was the artist or the song.

A lot of metal on this one.

Tool - Right in Two
Tortoise - Onions Wrapped in Rubber
Jimi Hendrix Experience - You Got Me Floatin'
Interpol - Specialist
Secede - Depart & Arrive
Helloween - Follow the Sign
Sadus - Certain Death
Mastodon - Burning Man
Testament - Allegiance
Iron Maiden - Prodigal Son
