Pretty awesome shuffle. Love that Explosions song, Arcade Fire, Kid Cudi, and thanks for introducing me to B-Rock. I have to go listen to his other stuff now. All in all, great tunes, except for Evan Dando. He's an assclown.

Ama (Meditation Mix) - Yaseer Habeeb
On the Other Hand - Randy Travis
Never the Machine Forever - Soundgarden
What Have I Done to Deserve This? - Pet Shop Boys
Song for Mary - The Herbaliser
Life – Haddaway
Pap Smear - Crystal Castles

Along with the hilarity of all the roundabouts going into the place itself, quite possibly

Replicas is a great album. People give Gary Numan a bad rep because he sounds somewhat similar to Low-era Bowie, often forgetting that the first three albums he made were actually really good.

And that Weller song's off of Wild Wood, which is really the only one of his albums I can listen to end-to-end without getting bored (although I kinda fell of the Modfather horse a few years back and as such haven't heard his last two albums yet).

Not my favourite Clash song by a stretch, but props for having a tune of theirs in there. I can appreciate Soundgarden and Alice In Chains, but I really don't listen to them very much at all. Pet Shop Boys are decent in places too, like with that tune you've got there. Apart from Crystal Castles who I don't really like, I've not heard of anything else from that list.

Mos Def ft Busta Rhymes - Do It Now
The Church - Lunar
Beastie Boys - Electrify
Kevin Ayers - Margaret
Wire - Former Airline
Imogen Heap - Earth
Ricky Scaggs & Elvis Costello - Don't Get Above Your Raising
Blur - Ambulance
Owen Gray - Jezebel
David Bowie - In the Heat Of the Morning

^ I hate that Blur song with a passion.

Otherwise, I like this shuffle...

I'm liking the Wire and Mos Def songs. Wire's probably one of my favorite punk rock bands, and it was Mos Def who got me into hip hop at the very beginning. Elvis Costello is always good, too.

Here's mine...

>"Shot by Both Sides" - Magazine
>"Asto Plane" - Modern Lovers
>"Last Night" - A Whisper in the Noise
>"Masters of War" - Bob Dylan
>"Don't Believe the Hype" - Public Enemy
>"Maze" - Art Bears
>"Comment Number One" - Gil Scott Heron
>"Dead on Arrival" -Throbbing Gristle
>"My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion" - Flaming Lips
>"Love Struck Baby" - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Didn't hate the ones I didn't bold. I just think they're okay.

I haven't heard anything from The Mountain Goats, but aside from that, you can't really go wrong with any of those tracks. As much as I love Hendrix's 'rock' material, he was at his best playing the blues, IMO. A double thumbs-up for Mississippi John Hurt and the Jungle Brothers, too. I can't remember which album that Jungle Brothers song is from, but "Done By The Forces Of Nature" is one of my favourites from that era of hip-hop. Awesome stuff.

"For Pete's Sake" by Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth (from "Mecca And The Soul Brother")
"Dual Mr. Tillman Anthony" by Miles Davis (from "Water Babies")
"Uh Huh" by Hank Mobley (from "Workout")
"Oh Red" by Count Basie (from "The Complete Decca Recordings")
"Ching Miau" by Yusef Lateef (from "Eastern Sounds")
"Butch And Butch" by Oliver Nelson (from "The Blues And The Abstract Truth")
"Immaculate Deception" by Joe Henderson (from "The Milestone Years")
"Papa Was Too" by Joe Tex (from "25 All Time Greatest Hits")
"Lilia" by Wayne Shorter (from "Native Dancer")
"Bags' Groove" by The Oscar Peterson Trio (from "Night Train")

Believe me, jazz isn't all I have on my computer, this was just a really lucky list.

Tough choice for a favourite, but I'm in more of a mood for funk tonight, so I'll say Joe Tex.

I agree. Around that time I also loved John Foxx's Metamatic LP.

I'm at the mercy of Wayfarer, following this shuffle (once more)... blues is one of the shortfalls in my collection though I do like vaudeville and 30's/40's music and doo-wop, I even like Manhattan Transfer though I feel now this is pointless to explain so...

One In Ten - UB40 - Present Arms In Dub
Kid - THE PRETENDERS - Break Up The Concrete
Lost Mi Love - YELLOWMAN - Mister Yellowman
Don't Turn Around - ASWAD - Ultimate 80's: Disc 4
Deathwish - THE POLICE - Messages In A Box
The Boy From New York City - DARTS - 100 Hits: The 70's - Disc 1
Lonely Boy - SEX PISTOLS - The Great Rock And Roll Swindle
If I Never See You Again - WET WET WET - Now That's What I Call Music 37
Dirty Frank - PEARL JAM - Ten
Heroes - DAVID BOWIE - Best Of Bowie

I don't particularly care for any of those songs besides Pearl Jam and David Bowie.

Jakob Dylan - Truth For A Truth
Pete Seeger - Where Have All The Flowers Gone?
Hank Williams - Fly Trouble
Neil Young - Southern Man
The Coral - Boy At The Window
Neil Young - Only Love Can Break Your Heart
Beck - Profanity Prayers
Nirvana - Rape Me
Johnny Cash - Jackson
The Black Keys - Lies

Great guitar solo.
