Allright, I never joined in this thread because I have TOO Much music.
I let winamp scan my archive now and I will now try to add all my tracks (26433), 74 days of music) to a playlist to see what happens... This could take a while... Oh, that went surprisingly fast I should ask that I have quite some discographies so in some cases I haven't heard every song that's in the list *Randomize* 1. Jethro Tull - We Five Kings 2. The Doors - When the Music is Over 3. Susan Cadogan - Nice and Easy (by Lee Perry) 4. Jethro Tull - Sossity you're a Woman 5. Lee Perry - Inspector Gadget 2004 6. King Tubby - Dubbing my Way 7. Bob Dylan - 10.000 men 8. Beirut - A Sunday Smile 9. zZz - Majeur 10. Fleetwood Mac - Angel Haha, I can't believe how ****ed up it randomised. I actually know just two of these songs . I have heard some of them before, but I never really went and played any of these songs or albums they come from. That's incredible. Ah well, here you go. As I have never done this before, I'll give it another go rightaway. I scrolled down and now will go from 31 to 40: 1. Django Reinhardt - Viper's Dream 2. John Scofield - Beckon Call 3. Babylon Circus - Lorenzo 4. The Levellers - I have no answers 5. Paolo Conte - Le Scapolo 6. Trampled by Turtles - Seperate 7. The Grateful Dead - Walkin' Blues 8. Tim Armstrong - Lady Demeter 9. The Bees - Sweet like a Champion 10. Jethro Tull - Velvet Green That's better. I know 7 of those tracks .

I have a little less than you almost 11,000, though I've listen to almost all of it, there are some that I haven't listened to. In regards to your playlists, I like the first one better.

Matisyahu - Within You Without You Matisyahu - Escape (The Louisville Light Sessions) The Beatles - Sun King Me First and The Gimme Gimmes - Uptown Girl Modest Mouse - The World at Large John Fogerty - Almost Saturday Night Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings - Naturally Gnarls Barkley - Run (I'm a Natural Disaster) Paul Simon - Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard A so-so playlist. |

Guess I'll do another while I'm here... Ceremony - Disappear God is an Astronaut - Rememberance Kid Koala - Skanky Panky Buena Vista Social Club - Pueblo Nuevo DJ Food - Sexy Bits Frank Zappa - Dirty Love Tortoise - Goriri Reflection Eternal - Memories Live Samurai Champloo - Mist Police & Thieves - Amor Y Guerra Tough one, what with Zappa and one of my favorite GIAA and Kid Koala songs... but Ceremony's noisy blend of dance and post punk just blows me away every time I hear it. |

I never play my whole playlist. And winamp doesn't get sluggish I must say. I thought it would, but it doesn't. I usually just play albums or just tracks from folders. My computer is mainly to find out about music. When I want to enjoy music, I play a record. Some of my favourite albums are still missing on my PC and sometimes I have huge discografies of stuff I don't really care that much about. So the idea you may get from what I listen to may be a bit false. If you want to get the right idea, click the link beneath my name. Let me do another one: 1. Al Stewart - The News from Spain 2. The Slackers - Hurt so Good 3. Miles Davis - The Pan Piper 4. Bob Dylan - Paths of Victory 5. Bob Marley - Trouble Dub 6. The Skatalites - Bye Bye 7. Tom Waits - The Fall of Troy 8. Neil Young - Hippie Dream 9. King Tubby - Rasta Train Dub 10. NoFX - The Agony of Victory That's an easy one. Al Stewart's "Orange" Is probably the best album I've ever heard .
