I used to be really big into Eminem. what I've heard of David Bowie isn't bad at all, but I haven't heard that much. I never understood the love peope have for The Beatles, but I guess they're okay.

Deep Purple - Maybe I'm A Leo (Machine Head)
Kiss - Lick It Up (The Very Best Of...)
Strapping Young Lad - Love? (The Chaos Years)
Rage Against The Machine - Township Rebellion (S/T)
Lordi - Chainsaw Buffet (The Arockalypse)
Strapping Young Lad - Aftermath (The Chaos Years)
Kiss - C'mon And Love Me (The Very Best Of...)
Fear Factory - W.O.E. (Soul Of A New Machine)
Shining - Fisheye (Blackjazz)
Sodom - Tired And Red (Agent Orange)

I just recently stumbled over "Blackjazz" after a friend had mentioned that album, and damn if it isn't one of the most freaked out records I've listened to for a long time! So thumbs up for that one. Of course, I have to dock off three point for the Kiss songs. One point each, plus one point for the fact that they showed up twice on the list.

---

Steve Hackett - The virgin and the gypsy
Adrian Belew - 1967
Electric Sandwich - I want you
Quantum Jump - Summer in the city
Simon & Garfunkel - The only living boy in New York
Drama - Hard to believe
Nektar - Little boy
Spock's Beard - Time has come
Lalala laba, a-ao, lalala laba folks *
Magnum - The bringer

* This one may rise questions

I actually like Modest Mouse, although it's a bit out of my comfort zone musically. Lithium is probably my favorite song on that list.

Kiss - Calling Dr. Love (The Very Best Of...)
Devin Townsend Project - The Way Home! (Addicted)
Devin Townsend Project - In-Ah! (Addicted)
Demented Are Go! - Pedigree (Hellbilly Storm)
Kiss - I Stole Your Love (The Very Best Of...)
Megadeth - Bad Omen (Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?)
Triptykon - My Pain (Eparistera Daimones)
Dethklok - Better Metal Snake (The Dethalbum)
The Reverend Horton Heat - Where In The Hell Did You Go With My Toothbrush? (Holy Roller)
Shining - The Smoking Dog (In The Kingdom Of Kitsch You Will Be A Monster)

Not a bad list, though Kiss hurts it, and it's too bad you didn't end up with a better Shining song. (Heh. Glancing up I see I'm not the first person to comment on both Shining and Kiss in one of your lists).

Here's mine...

Charlie Parker—"My Melancholy Baby"
Primus—"Frizzle Fry"
Alien Sex Fiend—"So Much to Do, So Little Time"
Goblin Cock—"Talking to Chaka"
Me First & the Gimme Gimmes—"Danny's Song"
Miles Davis—"My Ship"
Testament—"Eyes of Wrath"
Weezer—"Buddy Holly"
Killing Joke—"Absent Friends"
Onipa Nua—"Babundida"

They send a terrible message to the kids? IDK i think all the hate is from making **** loads of money while being less talented then people favorite band, i say more power to them.

I can only speak for myself but I hate c o c k-rock in general, as well as the whole "rock'n roll all night"-attitude. I still think "Destroyer" is decent though.

I agree with them, Kiss is one of my least favorite bands. It's just ridiculously stupid, with meaningless lyrics and unnecessary theatrics.

@Janzoon: Goblin Cock? Alien Sex Fiend? Those names kind of scare me.

The Format- Sore Thumb
Miike Snow- Sans Solei
Mischief Brew- Gratitude and Thanks
Into It. Over It- Corrugated Windows
Pavement- Half A Crayon
The Max Levine Ensemble- Thrash Mt. Towson
Iron On- Keeping Up Appearances
Into It. Over It.- Pontiac, MI
The Sarcastic Dharma Society- Our House
Man Man- El Azteca.

Man two Into It. Over It. songs...I love his music but I hate getting repeats in the shuffle.
