The Shins - Kissing The Lipless (Chutes To Narrow) The Thermals - I Don't Believe You (Personal Life) The New Pornographers - Moves (Together) Grinderman - Heathen Child (Grinderman 2) Audiosports - Outlaw In Wonderland (Era of Glittering Gas) NoMeansNo - Wiggly Worm (The Worldhood Of The World (As Such) ) God Bullies - HATE (Kill The King) J Church - Eric Dolphy (The Horror Of Life) Blonde Redhead - Spain (Penny Sparkle) The Black Heart Procession - Blank Page (Blood Bunny) a great list not a bad song on there...and fun to listen to....but just the beginning of 'Kissing The Lipless' is perfection...the new Blonde redhead is officially starting to stick like glue...i'm a bit surprised it did not get more acclaim |

I quite like that Shins song. I first heard them back in my High School history class. My teacher played them quite a bit, along with Radiohead and The Mars Volta. For me:
Nicolas Strands & AnTiTo - Wonky Funck (Mahesa Utara Dirty Mix) Sven Weisemann - Xine XIII [Ray] 2L8 - Wings Break Heat Image B. Fleischmann - Phones and Machines Congorock - Babylon (Uppermost Rework) Collective Efforts - See What You Find Windermere - You Have it All Peter Broderick - Games I Would Set Myself on Fire for You - Eight M. Ostermeier - Competing Memories, Both Correct Pretty good shuffle I guess? I dunno. |

The "eight" track is a weird one but cool, in a way. The Pete Broderick song wasn't bad, quite liked it.
here's mine, 1. Blue eyes crying in the rain - Eva Cassidy 2. Blues de Luxe - Jeff Beck 3. Love me Do - The Beatles 4. Green Onions - Booker T and The Mj's 5. Voodoo Child - Jimi Hendrix 6. One too many mornings - Bob Dylan 7. Night fever - the Bee Gees 8. Sunny Afternoon - the Kinks 9. Easy Living - Bille Holiday 10. Take Five - Dave Brubeck I'm ashamed to say I'm not that ashamed about no. 7! Quite hard to pick between these songs which is my favourite, whilst i love Voodoo Child and Green Onions, and Take Five, I think Sunny afternoon takes it. |

Decent list ya got there. Diggin' Ozzy, Pink Floyd, and DJ Shadow, who I've just had the fortune to listen to for the first time here recently. Awesome stuff! I've only heard a few songs from MGMT, but they were pretty good too. Poppy fun.
1) Twisted Wheel - Oh What Have You Done 2) Transglobal Underground - Border Control 3) King's X - I'll Never Be The Same 4) The Olivia Tremor Control - NYC-25 5) Mastodon - Blood and Thunder 6) The Wreckers - Rain 7) 10,000 Maniacs - What's the Matter Here? 8) Prince & the Revolution - Computer Blue 9) Vegangelica - Evergreen 10) New Order - Thieves Like Us Ha! Vegangelica ended up in my shuffle. Nice.

of the few I know, not my main tastes, but not bad at all.
Alright, now that I have my harddrive hooked up: 1. I'm a Dreamer, Aren't We All? - John Coltrane 2. Epic - Faith No More 3. A P.H.P's Advice - Gong 4. Wlasïk Steuhn Kobaïa - Magma (had to copy, and paste that one assuming it's correct... freaking Vander and his confusingly spelled song names) 5. Sanctuary - Miles Davis Quintent(I have over 100 albums of Miles Davis, so his name will pop every time I do this) 6. Red - King Crimson 7. Rdumania - Gogol Bordello/Tamir Muskat 8. Thirteen Invitations - Mercyful Fate 9. Off By a Long shot - The Locust 10. Penchant to Thaw - Acid Rain(Idiot Flesh before they were called Idiot Flesh. Surprisingly... it's not that great) Last edited by Ska Lagos Jew Sun Ra; 01-02-2011 at 03:16 PM. |

there is nothing on that list that i would ever complain about....i would be interested in hearing 'Acid Rain'....good or bad
Jarboe - Yum-Yab (Sacrificial Cake) Paavoharju - Aamuauringon Tuntuinen (Yhä Hämärää) The Fall - Cowboy George (Your Future Our Clutter) Outo - Leatherface (Thrash Til Death) Lush - Ciao! (Ciao!) Cutthroats 9 -.357 (Cutthroats 9) Dernière Volonté - Cran d'arret (Devant Le Miroir) Sieben - Sweet Enough? (Star Wood Brick Firmament) The Cure - Let's Go To Bed (Staring At The Sea - The Singles) Joy Division - Wilderness (Unknown Pleasures) DAMN!...starting with the bone chilling Jarboe version of Yum-Yab, new The Fall...and that song is great...one of the better Cutthroats 9, The Cure, Joy Division....but had to go with the playful argumentative banter in Lush's Ciao! |
