Not a big fan of a lot of those bands on that list, I especially dislike Madonna and U2.

Grand Archives- Oslo Novelist
Rosa- Chapel Hill
The Libertines- Can't Stand Me Now
The Field Mice- Emma's House
Portugal. The Man- The Sun
Grand Archives- Siren Echo Valley (Part 2)
M83- Dark Moves of Love
Jack Peñate- We Will Be Here
The Decemberists- The Mariner's Revenge Song
Justin Townes Earle- What I Mean To You

I hate when it shuffles two songs from the same album.

I like David Bowie, but the rest I either don't like or haven't really listened to.

The Kinks- A Gallon of Gas
Al Green- I'm Still In Love With You
Samuel L. Jackson- Ezekiel 25:17 [Dialogue]
Frank Zappa- Hungry Freaks, Daddy
Cracker- Dr. Bernice
Radiohead- You Never Wash Up After Yourself
The Rolling Stones- Let It Loose
Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros- Burnin' Streets
Modest Mouse- Alone Down There
Cesaria Evora- Partida (Departure)

edit: whoops. Decemberists are good, but I'm not really familiar with the rest. Libertines are decent I guess.

That Rolling Stones track is great, and Modest Mouse have their moments, though I'm not familiar with "Alone Down There". I'm a little curious as to why you have Samuel L. Jackson dialogue on your mp3 player or w/e you're using.

The Devin Townsend Project - Gato (Ki)
Powerman 5000 - Super Villian (Somewhere On The Other Side Of Nowhere)
Strapping Young Lad - Oh My ****ing God (The Chaos Years)
Slayer - Catatonic (Christ Illusion)
Lamb Of God - Hourglass (Ashes Of The Wake)
Bloodbath - Trail Of Insects (Resurrection Through Carnage)
Korn - Embrace (Untouchables)
Dimmu Borgir - The Maelstrom Mephisto (Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia)
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (Greatest Hits)
Powerman 5000 - Blast Off To Nowhere (Tonight The Stars Revolt!)

Sabbath I dig, and Slayer if I'm in the right frame of mind. And admittedly, I'll pit on the latter PM5K album there if I'm in a nostalgic sort of mood. Overall, not my bag, though.

Tom Waits - Georgia Lee
The Shins - Weird Divide
Faun Fables - Old and Light
Jandek - The Places You Left Me: Part Six
Pacific! - Hot Lips
Pantha Du Prince - Behind the Stars
Dolorean - Holding On
Two Dollar Guitar - Blue Coat and Yellow Vest
The Sex Pistols - Holidays in the Sun
Scarnella - A Millennium Fever Ballad

I like the Shins and Tom Waits, and I've always been curious about Jandek. I don't care for the Sex Pistols and the rest I don't know.

Bishop Allen- Charm School
Guided By Voices- Peep Hole
Another Sunny Day- Impossible
The Decemberists- The Rake's Song
Sufjan Stevens- Chicago (Acoustic)
Tender Forever- No One Will Tell No One For Sure
Deerhunter- Green Jacket
Jack Peñate- Made Of Codes
We Landed On The Moon!- Boats
Bill Callahan- Eid Mah Clack Shaw

I had to cheat, I couldn't decide what my favorite was (I could have even bolded 2 more, it was that awesome of a shuffle)

Thanks! What's your favorite piece from Smashing Live? Coincidentally, Brinstar Depths is my favorite; not only because it's a great composition, but because I played through all 3 Metroid Prime games and it really packs some nostalgia.

It's from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, which is interspersed with bits of dialogue from the movie. It's a really great soundtrack, very diverse. I'd recommend it.

I like me some Decemberists, but not really keen on the rest I'm afraid.

The Meteors - I'm Just a Dog
Dr Feelgood - All Through the City
Cannonball Adderly - Bangoon
The Saints - L.I.E.S.
The Ruts - Criminal Mind
Robert Fripp - Evensong Coda: Viljandi
Smog - Rock Bottom Riser
Gomez - Shot Shot
Peaches & Herb - I Need Your Love So Desperately
Lissie - Cuckoo

A good mix in general. While I'm not overly familiar with anything there, there isn't anything I don't like. Gomez especially is good.

The Flaming Lips- A Machine In India
The Jimi Hendrix Experience- Purple Haze
CAKE- It's Coming Down
Broken Social Scene- It's All Gonna Break
Eminem- 'Till I Collapse
Buddy Holly- Rock Around With Ollie Vee
Tool- Wings For Marie (Pt. 1)
The Pretenders- Boots of Chinese Plastic
The Beatles- Martha My Dear
Buddy Holly- Brown-Eyed Handsome Man

My shuffles are always so boring.

The only ones that really do it for me on there are Purple Haze and Wings For Marie (10,000 Days is one of my favorite Tool albums).

The Agonist - Swan Lake (A Capella) (Lullabies For The Dormant Mind)
Droid - Salt The Graves (S/T)
White Zombie - Blur The Technicolor (Astro Creep: 2000)
Slayer - Cult (Christ Illusion)
Slayer - Flesh Storm (Christ Illusion)
Shining - The Madness And The Damage Done, Pt. 1 (Blackjazz)
Korn - Bottled Up Inside (Untouchables)
Hate Times Nine - Sever The Ties (Shadows)
Slayer - Necrophobic (Reign In Blood)
Blue Oyster Cult - This Ain't The Summer Of Love (Best Of...)

Decent shuffle; lots of Slayer, a badass Shining song, and one of my favorite BOC songs. + a reminder that I really need to get some new tunes on my iPod.
