I have a soft spot for A Place to Bury Strangers cos the lead singer is from the town I grew up in and I met him (briefly, it's not like I knew him) a couple times during the Skywave days. Beulah are also lovely and I've been listening to Paul Baribeau a bit myself lately.

Brad Mehldau - We'll Cross the River Together
Yo La Tengo - Always Something
We All Together - Cloudy Night
Liars - You, Drum
Black Sabbath - E5150
The White Stripes - Little Ghost
Stevie Wonder - Do Yourself a Favor
The Shins - Caring is Creepy
Horse Feathers - Finch on Saturday
Harvey Milk - Where the Bee Sucks, There Suck I

Strapping Young Lad - S.Y.L.R.M.H.A. (City)
Dimmu Borgir - Architecture Of A Genocidal Nature (Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia)
Jeff Loomis - Devil Theory (Zero Order Phase)

The Bone Thugs & Aesop Rock tracks are pretty sweet. Not a whole lot on the shuffle I really listen to, otherwise. I'm already burnt out on the Cee-Lo Green track.

001. Elliott Smith - Coast To Coast
002. The Kinks - David Watts
003. Ween - Springtheme
004. Elmore James - The Sky Is Crying
005. Phish - Ya Mar
006. Tom Tom Club - As Above, So Below
007. Soft Machine - Virtually, Pt. 1
008. Band Of Horses - Islands On the Coast
009. Hot Tuna - Never Happen No More
010. Tchaikovsky - The Seasons, op. 37b: IV April 'Snowdrop'

I wish Elliott had survived to get into more heavy(ish) solo material like Coast to Coast. That's actually the saddest thing about that album--it's sort of a different direction than most of his previous work. One wonders where he would've gone...

Also thumbs up to Tom Tom Club, Ween, The Kinks, Soft Machine... really all of it.

Luna - Weird and Woozy
Son Lux - Prologue
Olive - Liberty
Weezer - Run Away
Pearl Jam - Who You Are
The Modern Lovers - Government Center
Gary Louris - We'll Get By
tUnE-YaRdS - When You Tell the Lions
Stereolab - Vonal Declosion
Lucky Soul - Get Outta Town!

I like pretty much everything on this list, although I really don't love that Paul Simon track, and the Stones track is just okay. Additionally, NOFX is a band I rarely listen to, and that's not a song I'm familiar with, to be honest. That is a pretty sweet Phish tune, though. Album version or live?

Bob Dylan - Desolation Row
Umphrey's McGee - Red Tape
Phish - Piper
Medeski, Martin, & Wood - Sweet Pea Dreams
Pink Floyd - Young Lust
J.S. Bach - Minuet and Badinerie (from Orchestral Suite No.2 in Bm)
Michael Garrison - Escape
Elvis Costello - Accidents Will Happen
Elliott Smith - Southern Belle
Queen - The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke
