"I've Changed My Address" > THE JAM > In The City
I don't know most of those bands, but for the ones I do know, I like "Come As You Are," "Chinese Rock," and "White Cross," but I'm not a big fan of The Jam.

The Kinks - "Village Green"
Radiohead - "Optimistic"
The Rolling Stones - "Tumbling Dice"
Billy Bragg & Wilco - "One By One"
Bob Dylan - "Like A Rolling Stone"
Tom Waits - "Rain Dogs"
Pixies - "The Sad Punk"
Blur - "End Of A Century"
Neil Young - "Cinnamon Girl"
Bob Dylan - "Subterranean Homesick Blues"

Bob Dylan came up twice, but that's what I get for having all, like, 700 of his songs, I guess.

That's a great shuffle, I like everything I know on it, which is everything but Blur

Royksopp - So Easy
Aesop Rock - Bring Back Pluto

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama
Modest Mouse - Trucker's Atlas
Sublime - Free Loop Dub / Q-Ball

Cage The Elephant - In One Ear
Crime In Stereo - I Am Everything I Am Not

I have a soft spot for Billy Talent...

I'm pretty against some of that but the sheer nostalgia emanating from "Mambo No. 5" requires me to rate that shuffle an A+. The Beck and Beatles helps, too.

KMFDM - Deutsche Schuld
XTC - Season Cycle
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls
Dead Kennedys - Potshot Heard 'Round the World
Do Make Say Think - When Day Chokes the Night
The Beatles - Birthday
Messer Chups - Палец в вазелине
David Bowie - Moss Garden
The Who - Glow Girl
The Strokes - Is This It?

I usually see Tegan and Sara in your lists and so [finally] I am going to have to check them out... I only have one Mice Parade song which is called "Pursuant To The Vibe" and there is nothing else I know here, Apples In Stereo sound intriquing though...

When I was a kid I used to think Linkin Park was metal.

The National - Guest Room
Radiohead - Paranoid Android
PJ Harvey - A Place Called Home
The Hold Steady - Magazines
Brendan Canning - Antique Bull
Oasis - Ain't Got Nothing
Elliott Smith - Everybody Cares, Everybody Understands
Regina Spektor - Sailor Song
Barenaked Ladies - Call and Answer
Elbow - One Day Like This

Guest Room a close second.
