^ What I know there (Modest Mouse, Kind of Like Spitting, Justin Townes Earle) I like, but there's a lot I don't know. I'm working to correct that as I type.

Okkervil River - A Girl in Port
Girls Against Boys - Bug House
Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
The Rolling Stones - Dear Doctor
Miriam Makeba - Where Does it Lead
Minutemen - Dr Wu
Frank Black - I Could Stay Here Forever
Hank Williams - Half as Much
Jaill - That's How We Burn
The Dismemberment Plan - Superpowers

Okkervil just barely squeaks over The Dismemberment Plan there--that's a really tough call.

Nice list. I think the Linkin Park song is also my favorite, being on of the Mike Shinoda tracks on Minutes To Midnight.

Beastie Boys - The Negotiation Limerick File
Apathy & Celph Titled - Naturally Nasty
Psychostick - We Ran Out Of CD Space
Aesop Rock - Abandon All Hope
Jay-Z - Girls, Girls, Girls
John Legend - She Don't Have To Know
Green Day - Basket Case
Pigeon John - Growin' Old
XV - Fall Out The Sky
The Go! Team - Milk Crisis

Holy lord I love this line up.
I literally listened to Milk Crisis at least 20 times a day for a couple days. Haha.

Green Day and Beastie Boys were some of the first bands I got into, and Psychostick's ****ing awesome! I've heard John Legend a few times, but I don't know any of his songs by name.

Dethklok - The Cyborg Slayers
Lamb Of God - Walk With Me In Hell
Metallica - Damage, Inc.
Winds - Realization
Heaven Shall Burn - The Omen
Fireball Ministry - Two Tears
Blue Oyster Cult - I Love The Night
Animals As Leaders - Modern Meat
Dimmu Borgir - Absolute Sole Right
White Zombie - Grease Paint And Monkey Brains

Wow...way too much metal for my tastes.

Passion Pit- The Reeling
Ingrid Michaelson- Men of Snow (Live At WXPN)
We Are Wolves- Walk Away Walk
Angus & Julia Stone- Santa Monica Dream
Ingrid Michaelson- This Is For
The Lovely Sparrows- Devil's In The Details
Hey Marseilles- You Will Do For Now
This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb- Body Count
Defiance, Ohio- Sweet Dudes and Sweet Ladies
The Swell Season- The Verb

Oh man having to choose between that TBIAPB song and that Defiance, Ohio song is not fair. TBIAPB just beats it.

I strongly dislike Korn, but I do enjoy the odd bout of Slayer, Megadeth,Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult. Never listened to any of the others.

REM - Monty Got A Raw Deal
Moby - Porcelain
Brand New - The Shower Scene
Rage Against The Machine - Pistol Grip Pump
Eminem - Drop The Bomb on Em
Rage Against The Machine - Freedom
Bruce Springsteen - Radio Nowhere
The Stone Roses - Begging You
Rage Against The Machine - Born Of A Broken Man
Eminem - Without Me

Bit too much RATM in there perhaps.

I'm familiar with all those artists bar Brand new...and I respect them all too, in their own ways. Moby and Bruce in particular rock my boat, Eminem can be hit or miss for me though.

02. PJ Harvey - City Of No Sun
03. Namie Amuro - Fast Car
04. Jennifer Lopez - Escapemonos
05. Razorlight - I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got
06. The Magnetic Fields - Very Funny
07. Pearl Jam - Jeremy
08. Indochine - J'Ai Demandé À la Lune
09. Janis Joplin - Cry baby
10. Queen Latifah - Mood Is Right
