Love Bon Iver, that Guided By Voices track, and Interpol are pretty good too, so I like this list.

Okkervil River- Our Life Is Not A Movie Or Maybe
Bob Dylan- I Don't Believe You (She Acts Like We Never Have Met)
Pavement- Cream Of Gold
Heathers- Spain
Peter and the Wolf- Canada
The Blow- True Affection
Ra Ra Riot- Suspended In Gaffa
Deer Tick- Little White Lies
Bloc Party- Helicopter
Vampire Weekend- The Kids Don't Stand A Chance

I dunno who to comment on here, so on Squonk's list, I have kind of a soft spot for Third Eye Blind, but I'ma have to give that one to Dinosaur Jr. Charlemagne, I agree with--that Okkervil River song is massive.

Fanfarlo - Comets
Jandek - Afternoon of Insensitivity, Part Two
Tom Waits - On the Nickel
DeVotchKa - The Clockwise Witness
Sun Kil Moon - Half Moon Bay
Richmond Fontaine - Northwest
Alanis Morissette - The Couch
Aretha Franklin - A Change is Gonna Come
Dishwalla - The Feeder
Stars of Track and Field - Arithmatik

Cant say I recognise most of the above list, but Tom Waits is good and that Aretha Franklin version of A Change is Gonna Come is good. Wouldn't be a fan of Alanis Morissette mind.

The Prodigy - Out Of Space
Immortal Technique - You Never Know
Guns N Roses - Since I Don't Have You
Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road
Johnny Cash - Get Rhythm
The Offspring - Can't Repeat
Limp Bizkit - N 2 Gether Now
Street Sweeper Social Club - The Squeeze
Eminem - Cold Wind Blows
Smashing Pumpkins - Thirty Three

Very mainstream list.
(Sorry about the Limp Bizkit)

THE STRANGLERS "Don't Bring Harry" (The Complete Singles 1977-1991)

I'm a fan of both Tori Amos and The Jesus & Mary Chain, but at this point in time, I'm too unfamiliar with the other artists listed to comment on them. I will say this though; if you like Tori, get some KATE BUSH into your BLOOD girl!

01. The Cure - ''At Night''
02. Weezer - ''I Don't Want To Let You Go''
03. Seiko Matsuda - ''Rock 'n Rogue'' (Lol at this engrish song title)
04. Bruce Springsteen - ''My Beautiful Reward''
05. Michael Jackson - ''Man In The Mirror''
06. Seiko Matsuda - ''Sleeping Beauty''
07. Prince - ''Batdance''
08. The Magnetic Fields - ''Smoke And Mirrors''
09. Everything But The Girl - ''I Don't Want To Talk About It''
10. Donkey Kong Country - ''Lockjaw's Saga''

I love The Magnetic Fields. Ughh, Seiko is such a career never-say-die japanese has been though, freaky that she came up twice.

Man, The Cure, Weezer, Spingsteen...it's like an all-star lineup of bands I would eliminate from existence. Other than that, uh, Prince and MJ are OK I guess, and Donkey Kong Country's OST ain't horrible.

Madvillain - Money Folder
XTC - Knuckle Down
Kyuss - Apothecaries' Weight
Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills (Live)
Wire - Question of Degree
Nine Inch Nails - 29 Ghosts IV
Talking Heads - Take Me to the River (Love)
The Who - Sparks (Live)
KMFDM - Beast
King Crimson - The ConstruKCtion of Light

For Kayleigh...

I have many U2 songs but not Lemon, I am familiar with Daft Punk but I must say I really dislike Handbags And Gladrags immensely...

On a warm afternoon at the ***-end of our summer, a bike ride home along the promenade produced this next list which for me was really enjoyable, okay I could have skipped the Living In A Box track [but wee're doing our laundry in public here] and in any case I think it's a great song, also hadn't visited 83 Royal Gardens in a long while!

JOY DIVISION "Decades"
REM "Imitation Of Life"
DAVID BOWIE "Ashes To Ashes"
RED HOUSE PAINTERS "Dragonflies"
LIVING IN A BOX "Room In Your Heart"
DRIVER 67 "Car 67"
DOROTHY MOORE "Misty Blue"
ERASURE "Ship Of Fools"
THE CLASH "Bankrobber"
PSYCHEDELIC FURS "Pretty In Pink"

Joy Division are good, and I like REM and Bowie. Rest of your list doesn't appeal to me though.

Placebo - Protect Me From What I Want
The Flaming Lips - Your Bats
The Shins - Pink Bullets
Pulp - A Little Soul
Dinosaur Jr. - It's Me
Galaxie 500 - Instrumental
Treepeople - No Doubt
Interpol - The Heinrich Maneuver
Throwing Muses - Take
Pavement - Camera
