Drowning Pool? Drowning Pool? I'll admit, I had "Bodies" in my library for a while, but I deleted that garbage. I do like Tool and Disturbed though

Gnarls Barkley - Storm's Coming
Blink-182 - Strings
Kyuss - One Inch Man
Led Zeppelin - Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Green Day - American Idiot
Alkaline Trio - Calling All Skeletons
Muse - Unintended
Metallica - Damage, Inc.
Eminem - Kim
The Flaming Lips - All We Have Is Now

Pretty good variety, but also pretty mainstream. shmeh

who cares if its mainstream that looks like a fun list

1. Mailman - The Jesus Lizard (Shot)
2. More Than Meets The Eye - The Shape Shifters (Was Here)
3. Le Plus Secret - Dernière Volonté (Immortel)
4. No Guarantees - Molemen (Ritual of the....)
5. Girl Inform Me - The Shins (Oh, Inverted World)
6. Disfunction - Satisfact (The Unwanted Sounds Of)
7. Dragnalus - Unwound (Fake Train)
8. Hourglass For Rosy Abelisk - Current 93 (Earth Covers Earth)
9. Blackmail - Swans (Cop/Young God - Greed/Holy Money)
10. She Said - The Cramps (Bad Music For Bad People)

this work out really well with variety and even seemed to space itself pretty well

I'm about to sound really lame, but I can honestly say that I haven't heard of any of those bands, save for The Shins and Swans - which are both bands that I don't dislike. I haven't heard enough songs to determine much of anything about them. So, either you have a really obscure taste in music or I'm an idiot.
For mine, I used my rhapsody library in its entirety.
1. Help I'm Alive by Metric
2. Spellbound by Siouxsie and The Banshees
3. Right Back by Sublime
4. The Con by Tegan and Sara
5. As The World Falls Down by David Bowie
6. Hysteria by Muse
7. Pure Morning by Placebo
8. Bebe Requin by France Gall (my mother, I swear to you)
9. Changes by David Bowie
10. Floorplan by Tegan and Sara

All I am going to say is that the fact that I have two songs each from Tegan and Sara and David Bowie is because I'm pretty sure I've added everything each of them has onto my Rhapsody Library.

I love the Tegan and Sara tracks, and that Metric track is pretty cool too, but I don't like any of the others.

The Drums- The Future
Iron & Wine- Wolves (Song Of The Shepherd's Dog)
The Heavy- The House That Dirt Built
Handsome Furs- Handsome Furs Hate This City
Let's Wrestle- It's Not Going To Happen
Bloc Party- Tulips (Original Version)
ZibraZibra- Sonic Fusion
The Hold Steady- Southtown Girls (Live)
Sufjan Stevens- Demitrius
Sonic Youth- Silver Rocket

I do particularly like that Hold Steady song. Also that Iron & Wine song.

Metric - Calculation Theme
Cat Power - Where is My Love
(Smog) - Smog
Son Lux - War
Nirvana - Oh, Me
Betty Davis - F.U.N.K.
The Mountain Goats - Historiography
The Blue Nile - She Saw the World
David Byrne & Brian Eno - The Carrier
Ben Folds Five - Kate

I really, really like Nirvana's interpretation of that song.

I'll give your list a... 7/10. I like Metric, Mountain Goats, Son Lux. One or two I'm unaware of.

Red House Painters - Drop
Sufjan Stevens - Decatur
Rilo Kiley - Teenage Love Song
Eminem - Space Bound
The Magic Numbers - Which Way To Be Happy
Nick Drake - Day is Done
Circa Survive - Imaginary Enemy
mewithoutyou - I Dare You To Pick Someone To Fight Me
Les Discrets - L'Echappee
Daitro - Un Fleau Pour Un Autre

  1. This Will Destroy You - There Are Some Remedies Worse Than The Disease
  2. The Black Atlantic - An Ocean And Peril
  3. Modest Mouse - What People Are Made Of
  4. Uh Huh Her - Not A Love Song
  5. Sigur Rós - Gong
  6. Peter Bjorn and John - Stay This Way
  7. Broken Social Scene - Feel Good Lost
  8. The Folk Implosion - Dare To Be Surprised
  9. Elliott Smith - Roman Candle
  10. Broken Social Scene Presents: Kevin Drew - When It Begins
Dr. Seussicide - Red House Painters, Sufjan Stevens, Rilo Kiley, and Nick Drake are all good but I dislike [or haven't heard much of them] everything else on that list. Especially Eminem. I cannot stand him. EDIT: Jesus H. Christ, that avatar is splendid.

I couldn't pick just one song. I am a little embarrassed that Uh Huh Her made the shuffle. Ha ha!

Teenage Cool Kids- Sleeper Hold
Tullycraft- Willie Goes To The Seashore
The Hidden Cameras- Fee Fie
Titus Andronicus- Albert Camus
The Owls- Bury Your Mind
The Hours- See The Light (Calvin Harris Vox)
Deer Tick- Easy
The Uglysuit- Everyone Now Has A Smile
She & Him- Sing

Maybe I just have very narrow tastes, but I find none of those very appealling. I did listen to The Black Keys for a while because my gf (now ex) liked them, and I can honestly say they have a few good tracks.

Black Label Society - Bored To Tears
Norma Jean - Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste
Static-X - W.F.O.
Mastodon - Hearts Alive
Otep - I Remember
Hatebreed - Every Lasting Scar
White Zombie - I Am Legend
The Devin Townsend Project - Demon League
Lamb Of God - Magic
Lordi - Icon Of Dominance

I can't stand Mastadon, Otep, or Lamb of God. It's just not my taste. At all. The rest, aside from Norma Jean, I haven't ever heard of.

1. Daylight Robbery by Imogen Heap
2. Time is Running Out by Muse (I can't stand this song anymore)
3. Sad Sad City by Ghostland Observatory
4. Knife Going In by Tegan and Sara
5. One (Blake's Got A New Face) by Vampire Weekend
6. Sugar by System of A Down
7. Mayday!!! by The Flobots (Haha)
8. Girlfriend is Better ny Talking Heads
9. The Past Is A Grotesque Animal by Of Montreal
10. Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson (covered)

I just don't know what's wrong with me. I used to obsess over Muse right around the time I got rhapsody. But that's done with, I just can't be bothered to delete everything from my library.
