I'm down with Aerosmith (since Critical Mass is from '77, it gets a pass), Blind Melon, and Pearl Jam...and I like Danzig when I was like 13 and didn't know anybetter...but I HATE Korn. They annoy the dogslobber outta me.

Love the sig; prolly my gave 'Smith tune...their first two records are criminally overlooked.

Johnny Cash - Hey Porter - (Essential Johnny Cash)
Right On Time - Red Hot Chili Peppers (Hyde Park '04)
My Funny Valentine - Miles Davis - (Love Songs)
Running Away - Bob Marley - (Songs of Freedom)
Organ Grinder - Marilyn Manson - (Portrait of an American Family)
Rip This Joint - Rolling Stones - (Exile On Main St.)
Around the Bend - Pearl Jam - (Benaroya Hall)
Old Enough - Raconteurs- (Morning Becomes Eclectic)
Hate To Feel - Alice In Chians - (Music Bank)
The Chokin' Kind - Waylon Jennings (RCA Country Legends)

Damn you backward-ass people. Seems like a good list overall, I like PJ, NIN, Pavement, Pixies, and Mad Season. The rest seem respectable even though I don't listen to them.

Today I'm packing and sorting out junk at home, shuffling a playlist of albums I have deemed summery and upbeat. Lots of artist repeats as I didn't start the list that long ago and iTunes shuffle tends to neglect stuff. Here are the last 10:

Self - Super*
A Tribe Called Quest - Description of a Fool
Ice Cube - Wicked
A Tribe Called Quest - Check the Rhime
Self - With You Somehow
Self - Nine Lives
Ice Cube - Dirty Mack
Phoenix - Armistice
Tages - It's in a Dream
The Budos Band - Raja Haje

I avoided the hype for a long time but I've grown to really like this album. It has done my mood good this summer.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Interesting shuffle. It's kinda hard to believe Ice Cube went from being all hardcore to making Disney movies. Never heard of Self before. Googling some of those songs, they're pretty decent.

Your Phoenix tune: one of the weaker tracks from Wolfgang Amadeus, IMO.

Sowing the Seeds of Love - Tears for Fears
Waydown - Catherine Wheel
I'll Never Smile Again - Glenn Miller Orchestra
Witness - Sarah McLachlan
Winter Windows - Sea Wolf
Being Boring - Pet Shop Boys
New Model No. 15 - Marylin Manson
What About Us - Jodeci
Some People - Cliff Richard
Overpowered - Roisin Murphy

The Shys- She's Already Gone
Calexico- Two Silver Trees
American Football- Stay Home
Coconut Records- Saint Jerome
The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart- 103
Devendra Banhart- 16th & Valencia, Roxy Music
Los Campesinos!- Knee Deep At ATP
Merchant Ships- Long Term Relationships Were Only Cool When Divorce Wasn't
Andrew Jackson Jihad- All The Dead Kids
CunninLynguists- Georgia

The Doors are good, as are NIN. I'm not a huge fan of Mindless Self Indulgence, but I remember liking them when I heard them.

1. Hatebreed - Judgement Strikes (Unbreakable)
2. Dethklok - Fansong
3. King Diamond - The Portrait
4. Black Sun Aeon - Cold
5. Metallica - Broken, Beat, And Scarred
6. Psychostick - The Hunger Within
7. Overkill - The Green And Black
8. Powerman 5000 - An Eye Is Upon You
9. Down - Learn From This Mistake
10. Howl - Asherah

Johnny Cash, Chili Peppers, and Alice In Chains are all good, but I can't stand Manson.

Tool - Jambi
Kiss - Keep Me Comin
Disturbed - Facade
NoFX - Leaving Jesusland
Dethklok - Go Into The Water
Hatebreed - We Still Fight
Overkill - Bring Me The Night
Drowning Pool - No More
Otep - Warhead
Powerman 5000 - Supernova Goes Pop

Drowning Pool? Drowning Pool? I'll admit, I had "Bodies" in my library for a while, but I deleted that garbage. I do like Tool and Disturbed though

Gnarls Barkley - Storm's Coming
Blink-182 - Strings
Kyuss - One Inch Man
Led Zeppelin - Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Green Day - American Idiot
Alkaline Trio - Calling All Skeletons
Muse - Unintended
Metallica - Damage, Inc.
Eminem - Kim
The Flaming Lips - All We Have Is Now

Pretty good variety, but also pretty mainstream. shmeh

who cares if its mainstream that looks like a fun list

1. Mailman - The Jesus Lizard (Shot)
2. More Than Meets The Eye - The Shape Shifters (Was Here)
3. Le Plus Secret - Dernière Volonté (Immortel)
4. No Guarantees - Molemen (Ritual of the....)
5. Girl Inform Me - The Shins (Oh, Inverted World)
6. Disfunction - Satisfact (The Unwanted Sounds Of)
7. Dragnalus - Unwound (Fake Train)
8. Hourglass For Rosy Abelisk - Current 93 (Earth Covers Earth)
9. Blackmail - Swans (Cop/Young God - Greed/Holy Money)
10. She Said - The Cramps (Bad Music For Bad People)

this work out really well with variety and even seemed to space itself pretty well
