I'm assuming your referring to me with that first part. I feel what you're saying, but it seems like my musical taste is so far off from everyone else here that I felt I'd be waiting forever waiting for something I could have a real opinion on. Anyway, I'm done with this thread for a little while, so I guess it doesn't matter, I just wanted to clarify.

Dead Can Dance, Bowie, King Crimson, and Floyd are all wonderful. Michael Jackson has a few tracks I like but that's not one of them. Don't care for REM and am not familiar with the others.
1) Broken Social Scene - 7/4 (Shoreline) 2) Placebo - Oxygen Thief 3) Jeff Buckley - Mojo Pin 4) Feist - La Sirena 5) The Shins - The Past and Pending 6) Moldy Peaches - The ballad of Helen Keller Rip van Winkle 7) Tom Waits - Bad Liver and a Broken Heart 8) Beirut - Carousels 9) Cat Power - Rockets 10) Skinny Puppy - Past Present

Awesome awesome awesome list ^. Particularly Placebo, The Shins, Jeff Buckley and Broken Social Scene <3 I've tried getting into Beirut on a few occasions, all I ever seem to hear is praise but they don't really do anything for me.
Midlake - Mr. Amateur UNKLE ft. Ian Astbury - Burn My Shadow Prodigy - Phoenix Wilco - That's Not The Issue Gossip - Listen Up Modest Mouse - Tundra Desert Deerhunter - Agoraphobia Bjork - You've Been Flirting Again Teenage Fanclub - December Blue Oyster Cult - This Ain't The Summer Of Love |
