@RVCA: Can't say I agree with your choice of favorite track, but to each his own . My favorite track on that list is probably "Make a Plan to Love Me". Very chilled out.

So, my list:

Cajun Dance Party - The Colourful Life
Harlem Shakes - Nothing But Change Part II
Killers - Human
The Temper Trap - Resurrection
Civil Twilight - Perfect Stranger
Bob Dylan - Blood In My Eyes
The Doors - Stoned Immaculate
The Beatles - Penny Lane
Paper Route - Let You Down
Jacques Brel - Amsterdam

Those who aren't aware of Brel really need to check him out. He's a Belgian dude from back in the day, with mostly French songs. Of ourse you have to be in to that kind of thing, but I think he's awesome. He also brings some welcome variety to my ipod.

I can't stand the way that line, "make a plan to love me", is repeated over and over. It grinds my gears

Besides, that Buffet track carries a lot of nostalgia.

"Black"--Pearl Jam (Live in LV)...............OK, nothing special.

"Airbag" Radiohead (OK Computer).........I hate Radiohead, but OK Comp. is Ok.

"Bimbos Go 90" Guided By Voices (Alien Lanes)..............average. Strange band: some songs are great but a lot suck. All of them are short.

"The Murder Mystery" Velvet Underground (Velvet Underground)...........not exactly inspiring, but interesting. The end is great.

"Ventilator Blues" The Rolling Stone (Exile on Main St.)....classic song, classic album.

"Tiny Cities Made of Ashes" Modest Mouse (The Moon and Antartica)....something about MM always appeals to me.

"Los Bastardos" Primus (Sailing The Seas of Cheese)...........Primus Sucks!

"Greenville" Lucinda Williams (Car Wheels on a Gravel Road)....beautiful.

"King of Carrot Flowers Pts. 2 & 3" Neutral Milk Hotel (In the Aeroplane Over the Sea).............still getting use to their harsh approach.

"Passenger Side" Wilco (A.M.).......albums sucks pretty much

Overall: I'm disappointed shuffle didn't happen to select some of my better albums.

Modest Mouse, Silversun Pickups, Wilco, not a bad shuffle in my book.

Imperial Teen- Sweet Potato
Thao With the Get Down Stay Down- Good Bye, Good Luck
Phoenix- Lost and Found
Rachael Cantu- Your Hips Are Bad
The Mountain Goats- Home Again Garden Grove
Phoenix- Congratulations
Animal Collective- Chores
Bob Dylan- Quinn the Eskimo

Man, two Phoenix songs this time? My shuffle is just failing lately.

Black Keys, Walkmen, Dylan, Animal Collective and Phoenix..not necessarily my favorite tracks but a decent shuffle nonetheless..

1. Tortoise - The Taut And Tame
2. Caspian - Sea Lawn
3. 65daysofstatic - 65 Doesn't Understand You
4. Boards of Canada - Skyliner
5. Biosphere - Baby Satellite
6. Mazzy Star - Free
7. Boards of Canada - Nlogax
8. Pink Floyd - Seamus
9. MGMT - Electric Feel
10. The Notwist - One With the Freaks

kinda post-rock/boards of canada heavy for being random.. I'm gonna try to get a strip-tease to that MGMT song

So I'll go for the last person who did it correctly?

My favorite here is probably The Taunt and Tame, still a great shuffle. Some fun stuff, and some really textured stuff too.

Have A Nice Life - Waiting For Black Metal Records To Come In The Mail
Electric Wizard - Demon Lung
caP'n Jazz - Yes, I Am Talking to You
Animal Collective - In The Flowers
Tower Recordings - Market God and Her Children
Ornette Coleman - ...Or Worse
Windy & Carl - La Douleur
Joanna Newsom - Cosmia (I MISS YOUR PRECIOUS HEART)
Sonic Youth - Shadow of a Doubt
Bowery Electric - Slow Thrills
