Can't say I enjoy her too much, but I do respect her: 1st female country artist have a million-selling single (impressive - especially in the 1930's).
(no relation to that other Montana "singer" by the way). |

yeah. I used to say I hated country music. But then i realized that I only hated today's country music (and by that i mean all that pop-country crap). It's so far from true country it's sad.
But yeah, Patsy's alright. "Cowboy's sweetheart" is her only real claim to fame. I'd recommend Johnny Cash or Townes Van Zandt or Kris Kristofferson if you wanna hear some real country. |
