Sorry mate but apart from the Ramones track I'm not to familiar with these artists, haven't even heard of the two tracks you highlighted, so not my cup of tea

1. Ice Cream Man - Tom Waits
2. Hurricane - Bob Dylan
3. The Heinrich Maneuver - Interpol
4. Georgia On My Mind - The Band
5. The Unforgiven III - Metallica
6. Iris - Live
7. Brianstorm - Arctic Monkeys
8. River - Joni Mitchell
9. Exploding/Reloading - Scars On Broadway
10. Final Conversation - The Butterfly Effect

think Zimmy just edges out the band on this occasion with Joni rounding out the placings.

^Looks like somebody didn't read the rules. You're supposed to comment on the list above yours and only bold one favorite track of your 10. Also, since you have a lot of repeating bands going on there, either you have a very small music collection on your player or you didn't shuffle everything on the device you're using, which is another one of the thread rules.

Anyway, I only really know one song on your list and it's "Son Of A Preacher Man", but I definitely dig that track. So you get points from me.

My list:

1. Gary Wilson—"Mary Had Brown Hair"
2. Sublime—"Under My Voodoo"
3. The Fireman—"Nothing Too Much Just Out Of Sight"
4. Tom Waits—"House Where Nobody Lives"
5. Joy Division—"Glass"
6. The Deviants—"You've Got a Hold On"
7. De La Soul—"Double Huey Skit"
8. Akercocke—"Dying In The Sun"
9. Bush—"Comedown (Lunatic Calm Mix)
10. Simply Saucer—"Mole Machine"

Janszoon and Bush?

I'll take that song or the Sublime one.

Vampire Weekend - 'Horchata'
Alkaline Trio - 'Your Neck'
Fall Out Boy - 'Calm Before the Storm'
Red Hot Chili Peppers - 'Hump De Bump'
Fugazi - 'Bed for the Scraping'
Minutemen - 'Courage'
Mr. Bungle - 'None of Them Knew They Were Robots'
The Offspring - 'It'll Be A Long Time'
Oysterhead - 'Pseudo Suicide'
KoRn - 'Make Me Bad'

I feel... dirty. But none of these songs are very impressive and I have that Fall Out Boy CD for a couple of songs and that is one of them...

To make matters worse, that's actually a fairly recent download.

Haven't listened to any of those songs since I were a nipper! Good Maiden, Metallica and Hendrix tunes, and Peter Frampton was awesome in Humble Pie.

Bob Dylan - Country Pie
Faith No More - What a Day
Edwin Starr - 25 Miles
Guy Clark - Fools For Each Other
Jarvis Cocker - Further Complications
The Fall - Popcorn, Double Feature
Gary Numan - Me! I Disconnect From You
The Roots- Web
The The - Uncertain Smile
The Cavaliers - Hold To My Baby
