I thought that as well. Buying used cds, sight unseen, is risky business.

However, after my initial fear of being ripped off, I went ahead and ordered Queen's 'News of the World' for around 4 bucks. I figured, what the heck, the worst that would happen is I'd get taken for a few dollars. It had a 4 1/2 star rating for it's condition.

Well, that was nearly a year ago, and well over 30 cds or so ago, and I haven't had a lemon delivered yet. So, the way I figure it, I'm way ahead, money-wise. I've spent less than 200.00 all told, including the shipping. Pay regular price for 30 cds, at say, 17 bucks each, and you're looking at over 500 beans.

In my younger days, I wouldn't dream of buying used cds, unless I was right in a used cd shop, where I could actually try it out. However, I'm 41 years old, with a house to pay for and kids who never stop growing or eating. LOL.

So, I take my music how I can afford it now. LOL. The worst thing that has ever happened, is one of the cds didn't have the sleeve. I can live with that. Besides, it's a nice alternative to having to go to the mall. Too crowded.

Anyway, sorry to get off topic. Please proceed.
