....but I mean like a movement that will destroy even people who have ****ty musical tastes tolerance for total bs. Nickleback were a boring rock band, so you could easily ignore them, cause they sounded like a lot of boring rock bands from the 90's. I could see this crunkcore seeping into every facet of peoples lives. This is the new nu-metal that will create an even douchier subculture. |

Good thing I don't have to be a part of the crapcore culture. It does pain me to know people actually dig that stuff, though, as a musician.

....It's a terrible joke if that really is the case, and they're still morons. ...I didn't know where I'd find a brokencyde thread...so I started one....the mods can abort this thread in that case. |

Where do you idiots find this garbage, and why do you feel compelled to include it when spouting your idiotic doomsday bull****?
I'd bet that less than 5% of music listeners even knew this band existed before ****heads like you decided to make yourselves look better by declaring how stupid they were. If people like it, then who gives a ****? Stop saying you feel sorry for them like some pretentious ******* and realize that just because someone else's taste may seem retarded DOES NOT mean you have to tell everyone about it. Worry less about what others listen to and more about what you listen to, because I'm certain that your taste is just as ****ty as everyone else's. |

You need new friends. Or better yet, just kill him to make sure he doesn't breed or influence other people's tastes.

A) For me, It's infuriating at times to see hollow music being widely accepted and bought by the barrel load by the mass of emotionally bent teenagers who haven't found drugs or a click that they can be more free to find/be themselves in instead of listening to music I assume doesn't take them anywhere. Especially when there is so much more out there that those kids could latch onto that would be able to grab them at a deeper level. It's just sad that Brokencyde makes millions from them paying to get ripped off of their individuality- usually because their insecure, young, and in high/middle school. B) Looking back at past generations it feels like today is more hollow, but I doubt it is. If there are stupid clicks today, there were stupid clicks thirty years ago. Also, Brokencyde doesn't hurt my ears. It's very easy to listen to, like Lady Gaga or a good Killers song (not Brittney Spears). Problem is it gets really boring really fast and doesn't provoke anything aside from bobbing my head, so I guess I'm not a fan. What do I really if someone else is though? I mean, music today is where it is, and the people who listen to Brokencyde are where they are. The world can't resist outgrowing them forever, and they eventually go away... like a pimple or something. In conclusion, I relate to you mr.original poster- but my advice is to try and let people do what their doing when their doing it and focus more on what you like. |
