The Cover Song Thread

A song being covered can be a great or a terrible thing. I guess it really depends on how the artist makes the song their own. A good example is commonly covered Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division:
Fall Out Boy:

Human Drama:

That Human Drama cover is one of my favorites. It's off their album Pin-ups (yeah, they copied David Bowie), an all cover album featuring songs from Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Tom Waits, John Lennon, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, etc. Pretty great covers all around. Especially this one:

Anyway- the point of the thread. Post your favorite cover songs, and feel free to throw out your least favorite if you want to as well.

Good post though. I like the sound of some of those covers on that Pin Ups album too - might have to look out for that one.
