If anyone is lookin for a music festival to go to but can't afford Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza check out Forecastle... It's a fairly new festival; cheap and has a bunch of great bands... this year's festival include The Black Crowes, The Black Keys, Widespread Panic, and the String Cheese Incident

I would love to hit that up - my summer is slipping away and I haven't had the $ or time for much of anything...

I need to simplify my life

Yeah Forecastle should be pretty exciting this year. I'd love to go but I won't be able to. I'd recommend it to anyone though. It's a good price for a weekend long festival and lots of pretty great groups playing. Definitely something to get into over the summer. Also, I just found out that you won't be able to walkup on friday and buy a 3-day pass. If you want one you should probably try and get it sometime soon.

Hmmm 2 people using the same computer sign up only to talk about one subject.

Want to explain this before I delete this & ban you both?

I don't know why you would ban me from here. My friend and I joined to see if we could find out what was going on with the festival. It's something we are both interested in and since we can't go to it we just wanted to find some people who were going so we could talk to them about it and see how it goes. Also, I just saw on another site where someone had posted the message about the passes being unavailable so as soon as I saw it, I shared it on here just for people who might be going so they would know. If you really want to ban me then go ahead. I'm sure you have the authority to do so but I don't think you have any reason to. I didn't join to promote anything. Don't you think that I would be going to the festival or working at it or playing in it if I was on here trying to promote it? It's just something I am interested in. I have posted on other topics as well. So like I said, if you want to ban me then go ahead. As far as I know, I've not broken any rules.
