Not just yet. It's really interesting the way it's broken up.
I think it's just the fact that you get to hear some great music that not many people know about.. I love the standards as much as anybody but for me it's just about discovery. |

Nope rubbish, there are numerous reasons why some music may be obscure. For example, the music created may not fit into a template that allows for classifcation, ie Savage Republic didnt quite fit into post-punk nor did they quite fit in with alternative/college rock, so they went largely unoticed. Like it or not, an artists music stands a much better chance of being noticed if it can be identified within a genre/movement/scene. Furhermore, an artist may release material themselves or on a tiny label that only allows for ultra-limited release and little if any promotion.

Wevie Stonder does silly little electronic mixes.. they're usually a lot of fun and should not be taken too seriously. You can find everything here WEVIE STONDER Wildbirds & Peacedrums are a bit more grounded obviously, their music doesn't vary much but the lead has a fantastic voice. |
