I don't think there's ever been a time where I feel as musically out-of-touch with MusicBanter as I do now. It seems everyone who's a fan of punk/hardcore (my favourite kind of music) has either left the forum or doesn't care for it past a certain decade. I'm finding that the only musical discussions I have anymore are about post-rock bands, OFWGKTA, or the odd new release that comes out.

The hardcore & emo forum is nearly dead, and the only activity the punk forum sees is the odd post every few days in a thread concerning some band from the 70's or 80's, or that Lydia Lunch character. I wish the old punk fans would come back or some new ones would join in.
