That joke is older than Kim Gordon.

And she's very old.

Still true though.

Well let's see... I'll just do whoever comes to my head and whose musical taste I know:

Bulldog - Likes a lot of good stuff; reading through his 100 best albums I discovered he shares a taste in music similar to mine. Likes the Happy Mondays, which I haven't seen to many people on here talk about, so that's a plus. He also got me into The Wedding Present.

BooBoo - Well, I know he's a huge prog fan. Seeing as how I'm not, I don't know too much about his music choices. But I'm pretty sure he likes some cool stuff perhaps?

Comus - In the vast minority of people here that don't like Radiohead, and one of very few members besides me that greatly dislikes them. Major points for that. Another huge prog fan; don't know too much about that again. Can't think what else he likes.

Jackhammer - By far the most diverse member of this forum. He's also very knowledgeable about all the music he has, it would seem, which is no easy feat. Introduced me to Mice Parade, and a few other things, so I would say his taste is good.

dac - He's a big post rock fan; gave me a really cool album by Valley of the Giants the other day so that's good. Likes Explosions in the Sky too. Besides that, I don't know too much about him.

dac - He's a big post rock fan; gave me a really cool album by Valley of the Giants the other day so that's good. Likes Explosions in the Sky too. He has a blog about death country, so that sort of takes away from the validity of his library :p (I despise country, I know it's diverse but I don't like any of it!).

Sweet Nothing - ****e. He once stated that he won't listen to anything unless it has a good review from Pitchfork, so he starts off pretty low right there. I have a problem with music fans that are close minded like that. He proceeded to claim that the Pitchfork stuff he doesn't like is things like Neutral Milk Hotel and Animal Collective. Therefore, he probably likes the crappy stuff from Pitchfork (I don't honestly know what's in there). Still a great guy though, I just strongly beg to differ. EDIT: Opinion just raised when I found his and wwwp's thread. He put in some Decemberists songs and called Colin Meloy a criminally underrated lyricist (how true), and included Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights and Dr. Octagon - Dr. Octagonecologyst. And Gorillaz - Demon Days, one of my favorite albums. So in reality, he just ranks lowish for closemindedness and not liking Neutral Milk Hotel or Animal Collective.
really now?

EITS are good not great, and I DO NOT have a blog about death country. I have no idea where you got that from.

And I'm the one that said that about Colin Meloy actually...

Irony? I just hesitate to check something out based on what pitchfork says about it, is there anything really wrong with me trusting their reviews?
