agreed.

Especially since I'm 14 and my friends don't even know who kraftwerk is. I'm kinda sick of being the Obscure Band Person in the class.

Hehe i'm used to not talking about music with my friends. I have my forums and that's enough for me, i assume any semi-deep discussion about music i had with mates wouldn't be the best of debates anyway.

Is music cool? I don't know. I really dislike some music. It can be interesting, though.

If I got to fly to Italy and row a boat to an uncharted island to hear a cassette of some untrendy, obscure music there, I bet the whole experience of listening to that music would be much more meaningful to me than if I had simply found the song on the Internet or just heard it over the radio. The song would forever be linked in my mind with an adventure!

CanwllCorfe - Just impeccable. I'd snatch his collection up in a second. Minus the metal stuff, it's absolutely flawless.

I'm only doing his, as I don't know jack**** about anyone else.

And so do I, but we're on MUSICBANTER... not exactly the mecca of your average mainstream 14 year old.

What is your point, Chris? Kraftwerk is a band a lot of 14 yr olds know, as it's a band that was popular with most of that gen's parents, you know?? Goddamn. Just like I had the Clash passed on to me because MY parents listened to them. Understand now?
