wow, the normal mapping on that character is phenomenal! and the lighting... SOO GLOWY! and how the cloth simulations behave on the characters is beautiful!

i wonder how many polygons are involved in this, though. *shudder*

Same thing. What do you do with it, exactly?

oh, i like to do little test animations and i do little experiments with the materials and things... hopefully i can piece together a nice animation portfolio so i can get into a good computer college and hopefully do animations for a game developer or something like that when i grow up.

but currently i'm trying to practice rigging because i suck badly at it

Animation is something that interests me greatly, because it can create some truly impressive things and it has such a large impact on what it's a part of. It's pretty much at the forefront of movies and games which utilize it.

Good luck with it all. Personally I'm more interested in mapping myself, though I've yet to really sit down and bang one out.

I've been meaning to do this for a bit here...

OctaneHugo - The man might be deaf. Pro-Steely Dan? Anti-Metallica? If it isn't hearing loss there's some 'spalnin to do.

I agree with Octane, you really prefer Metallica to Steely Dan...I mean neither are good, but Metallica is so much worse, I'm talking about music they made before the 21st century too.
