like, anybody who likes sonic youth instantly has awesome awesome taste to me. they're such a fucking good band it makes me a bit sick.

I have to say the one album I have by Lightning Bolt sounds absolutely nothing at all like the one Battles album I have.

they sound a lot more like battles as a live act. although oddly, live, they sound like battles recorded, and battles live sound nothing like lightning bolt on record. if that makes sense?

earthly delights is probably my favourite album of theirs from what i've heard.
