Default Song vs Song III

Another round to divide opinion although I love both:

Not the best sound quality unfortunately

without a doubt Fugazi. ballsy as hell and one of my favorite songs of theirs. i don't mind the Buzzcocks' song but i've got a bit of a soft spot for Ian MacKaye, or at least Fugazi.

The answer here is clearly Eric Clapton.

This. Exactly this. I'd never heard the Buzzcc0cks song till now, and it's pretty good. But I love the Fugazi song, and I love Fugazi. So it's a no brainer for me. I do need to check out some Buzzc0cks eventually though.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Such a shame about the SQ on the BC vid as it has much more of a kick than that with a great drum sound too. BC are a big part of my musical history and their marriage of a punk sound with a Pop asthetic is so damn easy on the ear but that Fugazi track has always been my all time fave of theirs and I still have the Margin Walker E.P on cassette bought nearly 20 years ago. Very hard choice for me.

Never heard either song before...after listening to both though I've gotta go with Fugazi.

Yeah, I think the sound quality was a big detriment to the Buzz****s - if something is that sugary you at least want it to sound crisp. Regardless it was a decent song, snappy melody and energy.

But I've got to give it to Fugazi, from one listen it sounds like a legitimately cool song. There's a great sense of tension sustaining the whole thing, although I would maybe have liked them to speed it up a little when they got heavy.
