One thing which furthers the practicality of spotify these days is that you can now add your media library.

I've yet to really try it out, but it sounds promising at least. I'll play with it later on today and see how it works!
edit : I've tried it out now and it doesn't look very good, at least not for me. There's basically no customization options to configure how your local files are presented to you. F.ex, I sometimes have multiple values in the artist field and there's no support for something like that at all. Bummer! Hopefully, they'll get some of those issues fixed though as the functionality seems brand new.

We finally got it over here in The Netherlands. And they added the Open account which allows you to play music for 20 hours each month including adverts. Haven't given it much time yet but I like the playlist sharing functionality. 20 hours doesn't seem like a lot though so the normal free account would be better. So if someone has an invite lying around please send a PM
I'm not much of a downloader but sometimes I hear about bands I'd like to check out so I want to use Spotify for that. Sounds good to me! |

So I know a few of use are friends on Facebook, but these days it has a music purpose. If you use Spotify, we can see what others are listening to, and send each other things. Currently, its just Dayna and I sending each other things we both ****ing hate, but I'd love to get some more suggestions through Spotify so I thought I'd create a Facebook Page for Musicbanter (link below) so we can find one another more easily.
I haven't developed the page too much yet as its more of a tool to find one another, but feel free to jump on there and announce yourself so we can friend you up. It might also help us keep in touch should the site ever close. https://www.facebook.com/MusicbanterForSpotify
