Ok, does anyone else prefer Talking Heads '77 to Remain In Light? I'm not the biggest Heads fan, but whenever I play one of their albums, it's the first one. Tentative Decisions and Don't Worry About The Government are probably my two favorite TH songs (actually, I'm also pretty keen on Sugar On My Tongue and I Want To Live as well; I prefer their minimal stuff).

I've never really set much store by their studio albums when The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads is so good. Fear Of Music and Remain In Light are the only must-haves I would say.

Yep. Fear Of Music beats both of them though, still for awesome pop songs that are Pull Me Up and Psycho Killer 77 deserves a lot of credit, i like their more minimal stuff too.

I actually don't like Fear Of Music. Heaven's about the only keeper for me, but then, I haven't heard the whole album in a while.

Well that song does happen to be my favourite! I think it's the easiest of their albums, lots of hooks.

Last night I gave Remain in Light a proper listen and after I heard it my reaction was "wtf was that?" I cant say Ive ever really heard anything like that before. It was weird in all the right ways. SO what album should I get next?

I'm going to second that. Probably the album with the most hooks.
I prefer Remain in Light, however. It's more engrossing.

Well... at least side one.
