I think we're killing the T H thread. I always loved Tom Tom Club also.
I`ve always found the Tom Tom Club to be very hit and miss but "Genius of Love" is a great song

After having 6 great studio albums "Naked" sounds like a disappointment.

It's one of my favorite albums by them so I guess it's hard for me to view it as a disappointment.

I`d put the albums in the following order, but the the quality of the first 4 albums in the list are pretty much even.

Speaking in Tongues> More Songs About Buildings and Food> Fear of Music> Talking Heads 77> Remain in Light> Little Creatures> Naked

Why is Remain In Light so low?

Good album but I think of it as their most world music sounding album whereas I prefer the new wave/art rock style of the earlier stuff more and the funky rhythms of the later stuff

I'm actually not all that familiar with Speaking in Tongues and More Songs About Buildings and Food, but the remaining regular studio albums I'd rank like so:

Fear of Music > Naked > Little Creatures > Remain in Light > Talking Heads 77

I always think of Speaking in Tongues as their best known album at least commercial wise. Interesting to see where you would rate that and More Songs About Buildings and Food.

Remain in Light
Fear of Music
More Songs about Buildings and Food

These three are far better than any other studio album they released. They all have a few excellent tracks, but they aren't nearly as consistent. Their best overall is The Name of This Band...
