Top 10 songs from genres you don't typically like

Post some songs that you like that aren't in your favorite genre.

I don't usually enjoy much music outside of metal, but sometimes i just have to take a break from it to listen to these songs.

1. the rising - cradle ( This is like one of the most underrated awesome songs i've ever heard. Simply beautiful. I've looked everywhere and still can't even find the album. WTF

2. Shinedown - Burning Bright
I remember listening to this song for the first time in like 10th grade and i can relate to it alot, and it is my favorite shinedown song by far.

3. Crossfade - cold
One of crossfades only really good songs imo. But still, 6 years after i first heard it, it doesn't get old.

4. Eminem - Beautiful
People say ems new album sucks, but this is one of his greatest songs imo. I found myself putting it on repeat for like an hour the other day. Good Lyrics as well.

5. Rise Against - Behind closed doors
I'm not a huge fan of Rise against, but "the sufferer and the witness" is a solid album and i don't know, this song i just can't keep from rocking to.

6. Tim Mcgraw - Don't take the girl
This song is almost as old as me. I remember when i was like 5 i first heard this and i still like to this day as much as i did when i was a kid.

7. eminem - soldier
I can rap this whole song because i've heard it so many times. Back in my wiggler days i used to think i was hard and i tried to impress people by rapping to eminem, lol. He tore this track up though, you can't deny it.

8. hoobastank - crawling
I have no idea why i like this song, even though hoobastank sucks this song owns.

9. Dierks Bentley - settle for a slowdown
I have some kind of obsession with slow country songs like this.

10. dwight yoakam - thousand miles from nowhere
This song is like so timeless. I first heard it on a movie several years ago and looked up the artist and i was surprised it was dwight yoakam because like i said, i don't listen to much country. But this song is classic.

11. 3 doors down - Road i'm on
This song is just so perfect. Brads vocals in this song are amazing.
