Well don't be. Instead of landing in Chicago right now for Lollapalooza, I'm sitting in my cubicle trying to get in a few hours of work before I need to go home. I was headed home on Saturday morning around 8 and some ******* fell asleep and sideswiped my Explorer, I swerved really hard, flipped my car, and now I have a broken neck. And a huge gash on my head. And a cut on my eye. And a bruised lung. And I'm out $105, I managed to sell my ticket to someone I know in Chicago for $100 yesterday. So that should end any jealousy. Plus I now have to wear a neck brace, can't drive, can't run, and can't see any concerts for 8 weeks.

Holy fuck, that's terrible.

Go and see Mogwai live. Immediately. One of the most intense live acts i've seen easily, made up for the torrential rain easily.

I'm a bit anxious as I bought the ticket on a whim when I found out I'd be in the country, but I don't know anyone else who is going so I will be a bit of a loner, ha.

But I'm most excited about Fat Freddy's Drop and The Black Seeds!

Yeah, I'm green with envy. I want to hate you, but I can't. lol. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun, just take it as a chance to meet new and interesting people.

Aw, I know, I think I'm hated by a couple of people at the moment (i.e. you and jackhammer, lol), but I'll definitely be thinking of you two when FFD and the seeds come on! :)
