I think I respect you more for liking those bands but also having a good taste of other shit. Some people base their whole taste off of a single bias and the second that is set off everyone goes crazy.

And even after delving far deeper into music than when I was younger, most of my favourite bands/artists are still relatively mainstream. Couldn't give a sh[color=black]ite less tbh. A lot of people on forums like this don't like to admit it, but a decent handful of bands/artists out there are popular not because they're "sell-outs" or whatever else, but because they're good.

agree, although there's still the bullsh*t that gets under the radar
