like i said previously, death metal has a very specific sound, there are no drastic variations in the sound, therefore i have every right to conclude i dislike any band that is labeled as death metal even if i've only heard a handful of such bands...... unnastand?

And that you entirely disregard an entire decade's worth of music speaks volumes about your knowledge. |

The last good metal album I heard came out in 1986 so thats a whole 2 decades & a whole genre i`m dismissing.
I guess that makes me doubly ignornant

I liked them as a kid , listening to them now is more about nostalgia than music.I can`t see me really getting into any new stuff they do , just wouldn`t interest me anymore.

I can understand and repsect those points and even nwo I'm not arguing or anything, but I'm very critical of music in general, no matter what.. SO of ccourse I 'obtained' it first, before buying it and was blown away, usually msot of these older band reunions are schlocky at ebst but this is one that tryuly deserved it, for a change. And this co-wrker that doesnt' even liek metal much in general at all he ended up buying it, too (he normally listens to more classic punk or jazzy type stuff) |
