yes, yes it is.....it's simply not that kind of music....in my mind, only death metal, iron maiden, bon jovi and other kind of crimes against humanity can be called atrocious...coldplay is just bland to most people who dislike them......just like u2 is to me....but i definetly don't cringe when i hear them, i just switch the channel....because they're dull.....

the key words being "in my mind". different people hate different things. the sooner you grasp the concept of personal opinion the better.

if depressing-good I stick with floyd

depressing-bad probably coldplay though i don't think I've listened to an entire song so maybe i shouldn't judge them except most people i know seem to hate them

neurotic/alienated=nirvana or radiohead

haunting = some songs on peter gabriel us

that's all i have for now without actual thought applied and i usually never follow trends either so imagine that

I happen to think Iron Maiden is much better than Coldplay. OMGZ OpInIonz0red!

It's future first of all. And from a technical proficiency standpoint, Iron Maiden **** all over Coldplay. From an originality/innovative standpoint... Iron Maiden gets the prize for that one too.

And yes "OMGZ OpInIonz0red", I thought that bit of immaturity would appeal to your immature taste and typing. I don't expect to be growing anymore than I already am now, which is an acceptable height, unless you mean mature in a mental standpoint which I'm certain I don't need to. Thanks.
