I still buy stuff from record stores. but when it's something particularly hard to find I use Demonoid and Rapidshare.
|
I go for a combination of downloading torrents and purchasing new or used copies on Amazon.com.
It seems to work okay. |
Soulseek is the only decent p2p network.

I used to buy CDs exclusively, but I often get frustrated that what I want isn't available locally, and hate paying $3 shipping for used CDs online. I do it often, but it sucks.
I used to use slsk but stopped a year or two ago. I was just amassing too much stuff that never got listened to...it just turned into hoarding and downloading anything that caught my eye online. I've been using blogs pretty often, but there's AIDS in that world too. I'm more selective when I buy CDs these days. And I miss the days of only buying CDs, I spent more time with each album rather than always wanting to download something new. |
Anyone still using news groups? That's where majority of my music comes from, except only the BF is allowed to download stuff, because I can't be trusted. Plus, he pays the 10 bucks a month.

I get most of my music nowdays off file-sharing sites like Mediafire and Rapidshare, or copy stuff off my mates. Just do a Google search and you'll get results.
However i still love browsing record stores for CDs, esp little indie stores that are full of great, hard-to-find music :hphones: |
What's your favorite blogspot?
